Theories, Conspiracy and Otherwise

Apparently, someone answering to my description has abducted a dear friend of the editor-in-chief of "Generation Kill." That is the only conclusion I can draw from Mr. Alfred Ball's latest article, but it boggles the mind -- both how this oddly similar individual could have penetrated Mr. Ball's renowned security, and why the Party President of the nation's largest third party would associate his own newspaper with such a poorly fact-checked article.

What is even more puzzling is that I was never contacted by authorities -- neither President Ball, nor any member of his personal staff, nor any Interior Ministry personnel have so much as spoken to me, let alone arrested me. I did get a few friendship requests in the last few days, one of which led to a quite helpful conversation with a foreign dignitary. Then I check the news and find out I'm apparently a suspect in a crime.

Well, the police (secret or otherwise) know where to find me. I am at their disposal. Of course, it will depend on a number of factors, including Internet access and the price of tea in China, whether I am available.

The market price of tinfoil might normally be expected to rise, but in general, I do not trust statistics. I have no opinion on the likelihood of storms, however.

There are no typhoons that do not pass, but if this were such a tempest, there would have to be a calm center. If so, I could reliably believe that things are improving for eJapan, whatever my own situation. However, if this were the eye of a storm, then we would be headed for an escalation. I just do not see how that is even possible. To borrow a religious-sounding phrase, it would contradict the Tao. (That is the opposite of tempting fate.)

I have no opinion on Dio, except that "The Sword of Dios" is an excellent weapon in at least one anime, and I'm pretty sure the wielder dies at the end.

Coincidentally, my avatar for another forum was the girl she saved. I'll have to see if I can find a frame for it.
