Ons bloed is groen. Ons harte goud. Wat is jy?

Day 2,361, 14:42 Published in South Africa South Africa by Miyagiyoda

I apologise for using my private paper for this, but the UitlandersSmurfs have decided to deny us our national organisation and newspaper because they aren't using them so why should we.

One day, something fell from the sky. Xi had never seen anything like this in his life. It looked like water, but it was harder than anything else in the world. He wondered why the gods had sent this thing down to the earth.

It was the strangest and most beautiful thing they had ever seen, and they wondered why the gods had sent it. Pabo got his finger stuck in the thing, and the children thought he was very funny.

At first, Xi tried the thing out to cure thongs; it had the right shape and just the right weight. It was also beautifully smooth and ideal for curing snakeskin. And Pabo discovered you could make music on it... And every day they discovered a new use for the thing. It was harder and heavier and smoother than anything they'd ever known. It was the most useful thing the gods had ever given them, a real labour-saving device. But the gods had been careless. They had sent only one. And now, for the first time in their lives, here was a thing that could not be shared because there was only one of it. Suddenly, everybody needed it most of the time. A thing they had never needed before became a necessity. And unfamiliar emotions began to stir: a feeling of wanting to own, of not wanting to share. Other new things came: anger, jealousy, hate and violence.

Xi was beginning to think he would never find the end of the earth. And then one day, suddenly, there it was. Xi arrived at a great cliff, so wide and high that clouds surround its edges. Xi drops the bottle over the edge of the cliff, and returns home to his family. The end.

The intense political pressure of the past year is catching up. We need some release outside the wall that is currently Argentina. We need some small victories to keep us focused on the long game. We need reprieve from the criminals that riddle our fair nation. We need fun on our journey to the end of the earth.
Come join us to remind you of why we keep playing.

Unity.
Camaraderie.
Purpose.

Kommando, val in.

About the eSouth African Armed Forces

The eSouth African Armed Forces serve to protect eSouth Africa and her allies from enemy threats targeting both our home and allied territories. The military unit is split by Regiment into Divisions to ensure battle efficiency.

If you have received and invite to move regiments, please accept.

If you have not, drop the the relevant officer or me a message, and we'll get you sorted. This allows for division specific Daily Orders, so you are helping to help yourself. The Commanding Officers stand in the MU elections for Captain so that they are easy to identify. They also adjust your Daily Order to suit current country goals and division needs. Ever be alert.

You are also entitled to Commune Work Supplies daily which you request via the supply form.

Supplies
Supplies are requested daily via our Supply Form. Request ensure activity and allow you to help us with a faster turn-around time.

There are two types of supplies:
1) Commune Work Supply are for working in the eSAAF Commune:
600 Health + 6Q7, or 7Q7, or 70 ZAR
We keep it flexible so that you get exactly what you need daily.

2) Fight Bonus Supply are for the number of fights you do in a day. We give you +1Q7 per 10 fights you do after 60 fights to a maximum of 240 fights. For example:
90 fights = 3Q7
120 fights = 6Q7
180 fights = 12Q7
240 fights = 18Q7
All soldiers in the MU are eligible for this supply regardless of whether you work in the commune. This is us making sure you can be the best that you can be.

You can thus earn up to 25q7 per day.

We are reasonably flexible with supply requests so feel free to request a day or two in arrears. If you are unsure about how many fights you have done -- either install egov4you's Pulse plugin (live) or get your stats via your http://egov4you.info profile history (updated at 2200 daily).

Moving Cost
We can unfortunately not cover moving costs as a MU. All help is between soldiers via the shout feed. That said, we also try to minimise costs through strategic stationing.

Uniform
As you can see, each regiment/division in the eSAAF shares a proudly South African uniform with a unique mascot. Our elite Assegai, should you qualify, have their own garb and MU. We mix unity with a little friendly rivalry by comparing average kills. Don't be the guy who drags down the average.
