Mann's Strike Team

Day 4,932, 12:26 Published in Canada Canada by Mann551
Mission:

To carry out timed strikes in battles in unison to develop camaraderie and teamwork, as well as improve rank and damage output.

Date, Time and Battle:

A timed strike will be carried out at least twice per week, with notice given a few days in advance of the time and date of the strike. Any eCanadian is able to show up and participate.

At the specified time of the strike, a suitable battle will be chosen to execute the strike. The battle can be either an aerial battle or a ground battle.

Operation:

30 minutes before strike time: The Commander (Mann551) will begin to scout out suitable potential battles. At the same time, eCanadians should begin to check in with the Commander.

10 minutes before strike time: eCanadians should largely be checked in by this point. Supplies will begin to be distributed to those already checked in.

5 minutes before strike time: Check-ins are closed and supplies are being handed out to eCanadians participating in the strike. A battle is officially chosen, and notice is given to those in attendance for the strike.

Strike Time: The Commander will give the go ahead, and the strike will commence

0-15 minutes after strike time: A tally of those who participated in the strike is taken. eCanadians who didn’t check in but participated in the strike forfeit their right to supplies for the strike.

1 hour after strike time: Rewards are handed out to those who participated and a summary of the strike is written up.

The Check-In Process:

eCanadians wanting to participate in the strike are encouraged to show up early and check-in with the commander. Check-ins stop at 5 minutes before strike time. Checking in requires stating how much energy you will be using in the strike, as well as your in-game name. Once checked in, you will receive either Q5 air weapons or Q7 ground weapons depending on the battle chosen, in an amount that corresponds to the amount of energy you stated you would use for the strike when you checked in. Checking in is not mandatory, but highly encouraged for the most effective strike.

Rewards:

Participating in the strike allows you to reap rewards. For each strike, each participant will receive a 500 cc stipend, plus 7 cc for every 5 kills completed, rounded down. So if you participated and made 9 kills, you would receive 507 cc. (500 cc from the stipend, and 7 cc for your 1 group of 5 kills. The additional 4 kills are rounded down. Making an additional kill would give you 7 more cc.) Check-ins are not required to receive rewards from the strike.

How to participate:

Strike dates and times will be announced both on the national feed, in the congress message, and in the eCanadian discord channel. The strike information of which battle, along with the check-in process and supply distribution will all happen on the eCanadian discord server. It is unfortunately not possible to participate in the strike without accessing the discord channel. This is due to the need for instantaneous communication between players and for logistics of organizing the strike. The link to join the discord server is https://discord.gg/yGTQber

Supplies Examples:
Air Battle: The battle chosen is an air battle, so after checking in with 1,500 energy, you will receive Q5 air weapons in line with the energy you checked in with. Each Q5 air weapon has a use of 5 times, which means you will receive 1 Q5 air weapon for every 50 energy you checked in with. In this case, checking in with 1,500 energy means you will receive 30 Q5 air weapons to use in the strike. Notice that if you check in with a high amount of energy but do not use a significant portion of the energy you said you would, you will lose your supplies privileges in the future.

Ground battle: The battle chosen is a ground battle, so after checking in with 1,500 energy, you will receive Q7 weapons in line with the energy you checked in with. Each Q7 weapon has a use of 10 times, which means you will receive 1 Q7 weapon for every 100 energy you checked in with. In this case, checking in with 1,500 energy means you will receive 15 Q7 weapons to use in the strike. Notice that if you check in with a high amount of energy but do not use a significant portion of the energy you said you would, you will lose your supplies privileges in the future.
