Join the new world

The IFP has been blessed recently to have a lot of good, active, new members. They add to the party and are very much appreciated. This month we have 7 of them running for party president. The old hands of the party are not running to make sure we take advantage of the new player’s energy and ideas.

Having 7 people running brings up a new challenge. If we spread our vote that much it makes us suspectable to a PTO. To avoid that happening we will be having a party primary this month. AC has volunteered to send a pm to everyone in the party asking who they want to be the official candidate. He will announce the winner before the in game vote, and we will all support that person.

To help the members of the IFP decide who to vote for I sent 5 questions to everyone running and asked them to respond. Four people did and three did not. The answers I got back are listed below.



1-What would you change about our party?

I would like to give a best place to IFP in the Irish politic because I think we have many talents and we have quite team spirit to be the most important party of the country.

.a. Firstly, the IFP contains strong members who are well capable of running eIreland as CP. I therefore don’t think we should support candidates from other parties. I therefore would encourage our more experienced member to run for CP. In the event that more than 1 member wants to run, there would be a poll within the party as who they think is best to run for CP and ultimately be elected CP.

b. Secondly, I think every PP should have also, and one of mine is to increase our number of Congress members to 9-10. I would try and achieve this by running a campaign on eRepublik, and enticing members and supporters to turn up and vote.

c. Thirdly, my second goal is no really to get more members to the party, but make people more aware of what we stand for and why we are best for eIreland.

d. I will continue to run mass party p.m.’s as well as introducing a system to introduce new members into politics. I aim to achieve this by having them do weekly reports on the country and its administration.

I love the motto we have, our info is good, we have good people in the party, so I would simply work to increase party size, contribution, and make IFP number 1 in Ireland.

I would like to have the inexperienced members to learn more from the older and more experienced members. I would like to focus more on our IFP ambassadorprogram which could then be joined with eIrelands program. It is important that everyone who wants to help gets a task in the party to learn and support us.


2-How would you decide how to rank congressman?

As I mentioned above I will try to increase our Congress seats to 9-10. I plan on doing this by running a campaign and by running experienced members in the first 4 places, new members in the next 3, complete experienced members and then new members.

1) the motivation and love for the country
2)the experience
3) the ideas
4) relations in the country

I would rank on experience and inexperience, I want a few experienced to help Ireland, but some in-experienced to get more experience and learn more politics, and how to help Ireland.

I would start a trainee program for new members and if we have enough new members which have proven they are loyal to eIreland and are capable to be a congressmember I would mix experienced and trainees (50:50).


3-How would you decide to support for president?

To support a president candidate I would to do a referendum in the party to know who is the best for ireland

I would listen to the party, and help knock out people, who are obviously not good for Ireland. I support all opinions, and they help me make decisions.

I love Ireland, I live there in RL, I enjoy politics. I put other's before myself, I thrive to help make a peaceful and successful nation. I learn new stuff everyday. I love helping less experienced player's, I support the ambassador program. I fully support the, Irish Freedom Party. It's the only party I have been with, and the only party for me.

Ummm...am scottish in RL but live in Germany thats why I started in eGermany. I have been PP of Germanys biggest party Open Mind Germany. Was elected into congress 3 times now. I was Cpt. and 2nd commander for a few months in my old MU.
