Celebrating greater Hungary-Czech friendship

Dear Czech Citizens,
Today marks an important step forward in the security of Czech Republic. I would like to thank congress for putting their trust in my judgement and endorsing the MPP with Hungary.
This was not an easy decision. There is some bad blood and bad history between our nations. But things have changed. Hungary was a young nation, it needed time to mature. Its actions in Europe can wholly be understood in the context of their rivalry with Romania. There was an attempt by Hungarians to TO the country, but in fairness the Hungary government opposed this. As we saw from the effort in Spain - if Hungary had wanted to TO Czech Republic it could have done so easily.
Now I recognise that there are many respected citizens who feel that this MPP was the wrong decision. I would like to appeal to you to now work within this new framework of relations. Your warnings and concerns have been well heeded and we enter this new relationship with our eyes wide open.
In this action Czech Republic has looked to her own security. We have not 'picked sides' in any current war. We shall continue to seek stronger relations with all countries in Europe. In the firey debate of this MPP some harsh things have been said about Poland, Sweden and Hungary. I hope that citizens having vented their concerns can now look to use kinder words in respect of all of these countries. In Hungary and Poland we have natural allies and we should not seek to alienate them.

SO TO in Slovakia and Ukraine is OK, because they wanted to destroy Romania? That recent TO attempt in Spain was also justified? Sorry, but I don't see a change in Hungarian ways. I understand that they want to do anything for victory, but should we really be allied with that kind of country?
And why didn't the hungarian president apologize when some hungarians tried to TO us? And why didn't they send any help? I had to personally concat Quicksilver to get some help. Hungary had more than enough man-power to help us ewith the TO, but they didn't do anything.
And FIY, if you think that I will justify polish or swedish actions because they are our possible allies. Poland did wrong to attack Germany and I will not be silent about it. Czech Republic must stand up for their friends.
I really think that it was a great decision.
re Jura: As I was in the chatroom that time, that government (and the TO organizing cancellarity of hungary, really came harsh to those trying to TO Czech Republic...this is how you were protected from some idiots..loosing some congress members is natural, but this step was more than enough to keep your country in your own hands.. some stupid goons are not enough, to deteriorate our connections).
There is no Ukraine. There is only Hungary 2.0 which some know as "Ukraine". We perform only ATOs there against romanians. Also, we TOed the SK congress in order to get a second front with Romania, I'm not 100% sure but every eHungarian has left the congress already, and we also gave them back Eastern Slovakia.
As for Spain, the tried to TO France several times, we just wanted to return the favor 🙂
And if you had entered the hungarian irc, you would have seen that every sane person tried to stop those goons making the TO, for about 2 days. In the very end we actualy succeeded, they promised they would take only x congress seats, and only for the medals, right after geting elected they have left. That's why we didn't send you help.
I hope tho that you will manage to get a higher population so that you won't have problems defending yourself, and geting more allies 🙂

No matter; I am glad that the CR has found protection with Hungary and will not be conquered at any time in the near future.
There is not something for celebrating. MPP with Hungary is most bad decision what you can do. I know, situation is hard, but there is not good decision.
Unfortunately there is no GOOD decision is our circumstances. Czech Republic is in a bind right now, we could only do what we thought was BEST for now.
I completely see where you are coming from, a majority of the countries i lived in previously had Hungary either Invade or TO or both. If they want to TO us we can't stop them, but if by allying with them we can prevent such action? I'm willing to take that risk.
This is the greatest decision we have made so far, only the nationalists who hate hungary for some reason are against it.

Vaclav: Don´t attack there against us. I´m not nacionalist, I like our nation, but I´m not nacionalist. I just think, MPP with Hungary is bad decision, because it´s radical change of our political course and leaving our current allies and support of attacking of our allies. It´s not something against Hungary, at RL it´s beautiful country (I never been there, but my mom was there and she liked it).
RAdim, I meant no offense, I'm nationalistic anyways.
@All - We are all nationalist and committed to the Czech cause. This was a difficult decision. But I think it is important to unite behind this decision now. Our unity is our strength and I hope we can turn our attention to discussing our future diplomatic strategy.
