¿Mexico and the non-reelection?

Day 444, 10:47 Published in Mexico Mexico by Dhoo

Corrigendum: In the article “¿Puede ser Mexico Independiente y Neutral?” published by Pergamon Press, the Mexican citizen "lupe" was named Miss. However, such user is a male.

Good afternoon citizens,

One of the first reactions to the recent election results, which gave the presidency for the third time to Mr Giles. It was an article written by Mr. Lupe this morning, entitled "LIMITES D MANDATOS PRESIDENICIALES (mexico)". Which as its name suggests, handles the idea that the law should limit the number of mandates that a citizen can be president of Mexico.

Since the idea is not absurd at all, I want to comment because I think it is wrong to create this law in Mexico, or by the case in general anywhere in Erepublik.

First of all, I would note that although the comparison is inevitable and the similarities are many. The Mexico of the New World is not the same as the United Mexican States for Real Life. The economic situation is not the same and there are huge differences in the life, performance and policy zoology between the two Mexicos.

Throughout the history of Mexico in the New World, has never existed and found a reported case in which a presidential election has been won based on the use of multiaccounts. Even at the time of the goons, the invading horde that swept Mexico, was formed by a huge group of users of the game. Which was revised and tested again and again by the Administrators.

The only genuine case, which occurs to me that we can and should raise the idea of preventing the reelection of the presidents of Mexico, is if we had a huge population of people with various factions. Each one very different to the other, to which they should be granted the opportunity to run a candidate to represent them, so they can participate in the political life of the country.

But this is not the case in Mexico. Here the population is small and basically we are all one big family, with relatively similar values and concepts. Elections are won or lost under the strict power of democracy, imposed with an iron hand by the administrators to create Erepublik mechanical rules that govern the political life of the New World.

The story talks about how the country's former presidents who had a brilliant administration, leaving it as true Héroes de Barrio (literally Heroes of District or Street Heroes), however those who occupied the first chair of the country and are remembered by their absence, theft or evil (thankfully the vast minority) become Parias without political or opportunity to return to doing things wrong.

Each and every citizen of Mexico, elected by their votes who will be the one that will serve as them employee in the Presidency of the Country and represent them face to the world. If most people want to re-elect a former president, I think we should give people the opportunity to freely elect their rulers. If most people do not want to return to a certain former president, there is no danger, as by sure this candidate will not be reelected.

Let those who do well, back to doing things right and not allow those who did wrong to play once more with our destinations.

Editor's Note 01: Since this article is so long, the Spanish version has been published separately.
Editor's Note 02: This golden Coat of arms could be seen at the "Archivo General de la Nación" in Mexico City. It is remarkable, the ribbon remains tricolor, while stone, lake and eagle's grasps are grey. This version of the National Arms is used mainly by the Mexican President, State Governors and State Secretaries.
