As the leading International Historian on Flags and head of the British Society of Flags, I can confirm this is 100% true.
Mostly... 😉
Is that a French cat?
Peter Snowy? French? No, he's Irish I believe...
You sound surprised. I think the French invented Cats.
Nope. Ancient Egyptians, afaik. And not Cleopatra - she was of Greek ethnicity. I'm sure Peter will discuss that in a future episode.
I see, so the Egyptians predicted the French, via the medium of Cats.
Interesting.
You're way off. The French battle flag is a white cross signifying Christian virtue on a white field signifying the purity of the French heart.
My heartfelt apologies. They are so similar...
Oh, I forgot the four fleur de lis at the centre of the white fields as divided by the white cross. These flowers signify the French troops' esprit de corps.
Again, the details are so hard to pick out. I offer my apologies once more for mistaking this plain white flag for a white on white on white on white one.
It's like this, but the field is white instead of blue:

😆
I recognise that. Isn't that the flag of Ingrate Canadia?
you mean inbred?
That too 😉
Nice 🙂
But your sarcasm is inappropriate for this moment I think.
Sarcasm is never inappropriate.
Even when a nazi threatens you with his gun?
Good point. Irony would be a better tool in that situation.
In Korda's situation I will prefer big gun 😉
