Greetings, my fellow singaporean
Minister of Finance, Olympos, has been fired from his office because of his inactivity. He has been away since I started as a Chancellor and because of this I decided that I need new minister - till this day I`ve runned the office by myself but now I`m trying to find a new ppl to help me with it. I got one candidate in my mind but I have not made any decicions yet - we will soon see if we got new minister of finance.
Minister of Information, Patriisi, resigned from his because of lack of motivation. He told me that he is not motivated enough to run this office and so he decided to leave it. Filindel shall be named as our new Minister of Information and he will start his work today - hope he will run things as smoothly as previous ministers.
Minister of Internal Affairs, Boethiah, decided to step back and do some work only from back stage. He told me that he is just too busy to consentrate to his job fully and so I decided to find a new MoIA to help Benjo03 in his office and so I name Atracurium as the new Minister of Internal Affairs. Together with Benjo and with guides and some help from Boethiah he will work with our internal affairs.

War games
How many of your want war games back? How many of you don`t want them back? I think there is no one who doesn`t want war games back and almost everyone want them. They bring something interesting and something what we could wait every day.
Unfortunatelly we got many problems what it comes to war games. We were part of Sol war games and we drop off from them because we didn`t renewed our MPP`s with Malaysia – the cost would be 100g and we just didn`t have money for that. The second reason for it was that if we would have MPP`s with Malaysia then Indos would gain open war with us if they attack Malaysias original regions (now if they want to declare war they have to pay very high cost, something like 900g).
We have lived without war games for a while. I`ve gained many PM`s from our citizens and they`ve asked if we could have war games back. Yesterday my Defence Advisor, Relorian, asked if we could start to consider about joining some war games – and after these long and boring days without war games I was ready to do that.
With Mdeusa03 we started to discuss about that possibility that we join some war games. Sol war games are not an option because Indos would gain open war with us – that`s too risky for us. Then we noticed that Ireland and USA are hosting war games. There was nothing that could cause problems...
...Except the cost. There is those 100g we should pay if we want MPP`s and if that was not enough they wanted that we pay USA`s part of the MPP`s (that would mean that we pay 200g per month). First I was shocked because our goverment can`t pay such amount of gold. Then I started to think how we could have enough money for atleast one month of war games.
This is your change to have our war games back! Our goverment will help to pay those 200g if our congress is willing to join USA-Ireland war games but we cannot pay them alone. You, my dear fellor citizens, have keys in your hands. Donate 1,2,3,4... or more gold to our national bank so that we can have war games back! If 200 citizens donate 1g for this purpose then we would have enough money for war games in one month – the more we gain the longer we are able to participate USA-Ireland war games. I ask every congress member to donate their 5g for this purpose when new congress will be elected (from that we would gain 50g) and I will also promise that White Lion Order will donate atleast 5g for this purpose. Personally I`m going to donate my 5g which I gained from the presidential elections so that we can have war games.
Donate some gold to our national bank. This way we might can have war games back and leave these boring days.

I was wondering for wargames, we have an adjacent country perhaps we could agree something with malaysia?

It would be our first option to join Malaysias war games, but it will bring the risk that Indonesia will have open war with us. It`s not up to Malaysia when Indonesia will attack and launch our MPP. It would be cheaper to join Sols war games but it would be too big risk for us.

I was more thinking of direct wargames with the malaysians 🙂 But it might take some setting up so it doesn't clash with the sol wargames.
And the obvious invasions and machinations of eIndonesia.

Sol war games Malaysia vs Philipines, but like I told in the article it`s just too risky.
Hi, for those who may not know, I'm the ambassador to Singapore from Poland. I'm just here to say that with regard to the Rhode Island wargames between Ireland and US, from experience we know that these weren't very reliable.
Alternatively, you could wait it out a while. We have so far liberated two of Slovakia's regions from Hungary, and if all goes well, we might have Chech-Slovak wargames once again. Though I must admit, this is only a speculation at this point.
I've got plenty of GOLD to donate, but having to pay for both sides of the alliance sucks, bad.
Not to ask a stupid question, but what if we joined the Philipines side of the war games...it's not like esing would cause enough damage to upset the balance. is that possible?
USA wargames werent good last time we did them cause they always have to be ready for an attack... its not a good idea

Joining the Philippines side might make sense. Also, it means that we can trade with eh Philippines and right now the Filipino congress is really upset about all of the Embargoes.
And No Ice, that would not work good at all. It would work well.
I agree with Johnnie and Kryte, joining the Philippines side makes sense since it'll reduce the cost to 100 gold and still maintain the technical defense we have against eIndo. Plus we already know how stable wargames for the eUs are.
I'll donate gold if it's for the Sol games. 🙂

I second,Kryteshyft for MoF. He is delicated and active (plus burning with a passion to serve) 😃.
If we would join Sol war games we have to pay the whole price (200g) - same as from USA-Ireland war games. If we join Philipines side we get so many embargoes - and that`s not good at all. If we join Malaysias side Indo will soon have open war with us.
Those are reasons why I would say yes to USA-Ireland war games.
How about waiting for a few more days for something better. eIndo's attack is not getting frequent and eHungary isn't really doing much so I'm suspecting something big coming from the old alliance. Just in case they decide to attack eUS within the week.

We have to make decicions before we can join in any war games - there is atm discussion in congress` forum section and it will take time to decide what we are going to do.
And I`m quite sure that Hungary and Indo are not going to plan anything big for USA - I think it`s US which is planning something 😛
An alternative is to see whether AHA members want to start war-games of their own after the debacle in ePeru subsides

@Steelsmasher: We need to pay 200 gold from the bank. The country has a lot of stuff to run and most of the government companies run at a loss. Not to mention the fact that just to feed our army in the case of war would take up a couple hundred gold too. There's plenty of things to take into consideration and with a small country like ours, it probably took them months to get that amount in bank. 🙂
🙂 Cus the govt have other expenses too i.e. various programs which are running. The fund raising is volunterly so anyone with a few extra $$$ can chip in. Every dollar counts.
But then, its great to see you guys reading the newspaper. Sometimes, I am not even sure if our citizens are active, passive active or inactive.
