[GOV] Forums, IRC and National Symbols

Greetings eSingapore!

The congressional elections are over and today our new congress has started it`s work to develope our country. We all hope that they will do their job as well as their predecessors and we all know that they will much work to achieve their goals. Congratulations to our new congressmembers!

As my first official proposal to our new congressmembers I started voting about alliance with USA. We have made agreement with payments and we have paid our part of war games now and soon we are able to take part in it. I will ask Filindel, our Minister of Information, to write article and publish it when battles start and when can join them so that you are informed about it. Soon we will have training wars again!

Secondly I want to ask every new congressmember to save their citizenships. There is possible PTO attempt (even if it`s small) and because of this we have to be very careful with citizenships. Accept only very potential citizenship applications and ask first permission from me, boethiah, Arbryn, Relorian or mdeusa03 or anyone else who you know is experienced and can be trusted. So don`t give citizenship to those players who are too suspicious`!

IRC and forums

Yes. I raise this topic so that we could have more IRC-players in our national IRC channel. I hope that someday our IRC channel will have more users (more our citizens not just foreigners) and that our countrys players will realize how useful IRC truly is.

Our country needs active communication between it`s players and IRC is useful way to do that. Military, politicians, including ministers and congressmembers, are forced to use IRC if they want to continue their job to develope Singapore. It is important that our citizens can keep in touch with each other – IRC and forums help them with it.

From our National forums you can read about decicion makiing in congress and also take part in it. There is also a section for different parties where party members can share their ideas and thoughts with other party members. Forum is also important for our military – there are secret sections for our soldiers.


Yep... I`ve been using IRC for a while...

Our National IRC channel is on Rizon. IRC is a real time chat where citizens can all speak to each other at the same time. This is a good place for our citizens to get to know each other and it is encouraged everyone use it when they have some spare time.

National Symbols

There has been some talk about our countrys own Constitution. Inspired by this discussion I decided that it would be a good idea to refine our national symbols – at the moment we got only our countrys flag, anthem and coat of arms, but nothing more. Because of this I made a topic to our national forums where you can vote our nations National Hero, National Plant and many other national symbols. Those symbols will be added to our wikipage which is under update by our Minister of Advertising, Tuukka_ Almighty.
