vCP It was like that when I got here...

Day 2,293, 16:58 Published in Australia Australia by eAus Department of Information

G'Day Aussies,

Well as you are aware we have a Country Presidential election on the 5th so this could be my last article as vCP...but before you celebrate I want to get a few things off my chest. Firstly this is a very addictive community we have in eAustralia, I mean since the whole Gatto affair (not literally) I have been to eCanada, ePakistan, eNetherlands and was asked to help eSouth Africa during the elections due to their PTO. During this time I came across some really funny and brilliant people in each of the above countries that I am honoured to have on my friends list, and I mean people you would like to meet for a drink in real life, but still there was a little something missing. I can't quite put my finger on it but eAus feels like home and I would like to thank you guys n' gals for welcoming me back.

Secondly, this was my first stint as vCP and i really enjoyed it and couldn't recommend it enough, a huge thank you to MickSkitz for having the faith in me as a vCP. And a serious thank you to all those who have trusted myself to part run the JDS with Claire each month as well...rest assured I will empty the account one day and start my own eCountry. As for the rest of you, If there are any of you who would like an experience as a deputy in a Ministry then why not contact the CP election candidates and get involved? The game can be very boring at times but working in a Ministry really does make the game worthwhile so why not jump in and try something? I know Governments are always looking for ambassadors to other eNations every month as well, so even if you don't speak a foreign language then why not give it a shot? Why not build some pathways for future contacts or even get a taste of Government ePolitics...who knows it could lead to a CP run in the future...

...and third and finally - The Kitten Cannon competition in the last article was won by Taurum with a distance of 3,974 feet. Yeah he is from eChile and I know a few of you won't be happy that they are our occupiers but one thing I have learned from this game is the sins of the Government should not be passed on to the population...and that applies to all nations. So congratulations and cheers all for participating.

Now go get ready to vote for the President of this great nation for the next month because both main candidates will do us credit whoever wins...

Dr Hugh
