Para começar, conte-nos um pouco da sua história aqui no Erepublik. (posições políticas, suas funções de batalha, essas coisas...) E o que o incentivou a ingressar no Erepublik? E há quanto tempo você está na plataforma?

Good morning. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to answer this series of questions. To start, tell us a little about your story here at Erepublik. +++ Bom dia. Obrigada por me entrevistar, me sinto honrada. Minha jornada aqui começou há muito tempo, já faz quase 13 anos, como jogador bebê na eSérvia. Para ser sincero, eu só deveria fazer uma conta de indicação para meu amigo, para que ele pudesse terminar a missão, mas aqui estou, ainda jogando depois de tantos anos 😀 . Posso não estar tão ativa como antes, apenas de evento em evento, mas estou determinado a manter esta conta viva. A política não é realmente minha preferência, embora eu esteja sempre incluído de alguma forma, mas eu me descreveria mais como um guerreira.

Good morning. Thank you for interviewing me, I feel honored. My journey here started a long time ago, almost 13 years ago, as a baby player in eSerbia. To be honest, I was just supposed to make a referral account for my friend so he could finish the quest, but here I am, still playing after so many years 😀 . I may not be as active as I used to be, just going from event to event, but I'm determined to keep this account alive. Politics isn't really my cup of tea, although I'm always included in some way, but I would describe myself more as a warrior.

At first, did it take a while to get used to the game and make friends? Tell us some of your "secrets" on this journey, and a little of what you've learned, to help newbies who are just getting into the game (and will be getting into it).

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Ah, sim, eu estava tão perdido no começo. Eu não tinha certeza no que focar: treinamento, construção ou armas. Foi difícil encontrar um bom MU, lugar ao qual você pertence, mas quando o encontrei, me senti em casa. E ainda jogo lado a lado com algumas dessas pessoas.
E palavras de sabedoria para novos jogadores? Encontre alguém para ajudá-lo (sinta-se à vontade para entrar em contato comigo). Concentre-se na atualização do centro de treinamento e vá devagar a partir daí.

Oh yes, I was so lost at first. I wasn't sure what to focus on: training, construction, or weapons. It was hard to find a good MU, a place where you belong, but when I found it, I felt at home. And I still play side by side with some of these people.
And words of wisdom for new players? Find someone to help you (feel free to contact me). Focus on upgrading the training center and take it slow from there..

BORTOLAZZI:
--- Você já foi CP do eJapão, Ministra da Educação e é a atual Secretária Geral do Partido The Last Samurai. Quais foram suas funções como Ministra da Educação e do que se orgulha em ter alcançado? E quais são as maiores dificuldades que você enfrentou até agora?

You have already been CP of eJapão, Minister of Education and are the current General Secretary of the Party The Last Samurai. What were your duties as Minister of Education and what are you proud of having achieved? And what are the biggest difficulties you have faced so far?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Para ser sincera, espero que os leitores não me entendam mal, mas só tenho um título 😂. Como mencionei na primeira pergunta, meu interesse por política é mínimo e me vejo verdadeiramente como uma guerreira.
Por que tenho esses títulos? Bem, eu sou uma menina e as pessoas queriam ter certeza de que haveria diversidade neste mundo também 😂.

To be honest, I hope readers don't misunderstand me, but I only have one title 😂. As I mentioned in the first question, my interest in politics is minimal and I truly see myself as a warrior.
Why do I have these titles? Well, I'm a girl and people wanted to make sure there was diversity in this world too 😂.

BORTOLAZZI:
--- Você já foi CP do seu país. Pelo que você falou anteriormente, você pensa em se candidatar novamente? E que desafios você tem encontrado?

You were once CP of your country. Based on what you said previously, do you think about applying again? And what challenges have you encountered?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Ah, não! 😂. Não tenho mais tempo para esse tipo de responsabilidades e quero fazer disso um jogo, para não sentir que estou indo para um segundo emprego. Foi divertido experimentar, recomendo 10/10, mas apenas uma vez.

Huh, no! 😂. I don't have time for these types of responsibilities anymore and I want to make a game of it so I don't feel like I'm going to a second job. It was fun to try, I recommend it 10/10, but only once.

BORTOLAZZI:
--- Vi que você também foi uma ditadora em seu ePaís algumas vezes. Foi para algum objetivo específico?

I saw that you were also a dictatorship in your eCountry at times. Was it for any specific objective?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Faça brilhar! Essa foi a razão pela qual me tornei uma ditadora. Serei honesto com você, eu só queria ter essa conquista desbloqueada. Eu não sou esse tipo de pessoa que manda em todos eles 😀

Make it shine! That was the reason I became a dictator. I'll be honest with you, I just wish I had this achievement unlocked. I'm not that kind of person who rules them all. 😀

BORTOLAZZI:
--- O eJapão faz parte da Aliança Wolf. Você está satisfeito com eles? Conte-nos um pouco mais sobre esta aliança.

eJapan is part of the Wolf Alliance (World Organization of Lottery and Freedom). Are you satisfied with them? Tell us a little more about this alliance.
DR.JEKICA:
+++ Como você provavelmente pode descobrir com base nas respostas anteriores, provavelmente não sou a melhor pessoa para responder a essa pergunta. Quando se trata de decisões sobre Alianças, confio em pessoas muito mais sábias da minha MU. Se eles disserem que Wolf está bem, eu concordaria com eles.

As you can probably figure out from the previous answers, I'm probably not the best person to answer this question. When it comes to decisions about Alliances, I trust much wiser people in my MU. If they say Wolf is fine, I would agree with them.

BORTOLAZZI:
--- O que você deveria fazer/mudar para que este governo seja melhor do que os seus antecessores?

What should you do/change for this government to be better than its predecessors?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Eu diria que não muito. Quer dizer, o que eu gostaria que fosse diferente não tem a ver com política, tem mais a ver com as pessoas comuns do eJapão. Precisamos mudar e parar de nos separar com base na nossa origem na vida real. Tenho este objetivo, e tornar o eJapão forte deve ser nossa prioridade!

I would say not much. I mean, what I would like to be different doesn't have to do with politics, it has more to do with the common people of eJapan. We need to change and stop separating ourselves based on where we come from in real life. I have this goal, and making eJapan strong must be our priority!

BORTOLAZZI:
--- O que você acha que poderia melhorar as funções do jogo? Além disso, você tem algum objetivo de médio prazo a ser alcançado?

What do you think could improve the game's functions? Also, do you have any medium-term goals to achieve?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Hah, tem algumas coisas, mas para começar, seria bom desligar aquela coisa de bug do captcha 😂 É chato! E na verdade, consegui um recentemente, chegar ao Legend XX. Agora estou no protetor 50 (48/50) para o Japão. Depois disso, continuarei aumentando meus níveis e comemorando cada 100º.

Hah, there are a few things, but for starters, it would be good to turn off that captcha bug thing 😂 It's annoying! And I actually got one recently, getting to Legend XX. I am now on protector 50 (48/50) for Japan. After that, I will continue increasing my levels and celebrating every 100th.

Well, leaving Erepublik for a bit, I would like to ask you something more personal. Could you tell us the city you live in? If so, tell us about your city, what the culture, tourism and main sources of income are like. Can you tell us a little about your country? Whether it's about current politics, exchange rates, tourism, religion and predominant language, among other details you want to improve.

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Claro. Nasci em uma pequena cidade localizada no leste da Sérvia, muito conhecida pela cerveja Hood e pelo rock and roll, chamada Zaječar.
No entanto, mudei-me há 8 anos para uma pequena cidade perto de Belgrado, Novi Banovci. É um lugar muito calmo e amigável, situado às margens do Danúbio.
Sou designer de moda de profissão, mas trabalho como agente de concierge (técnico) em um call center americano.
Também há uma curiosidade sobre mim: O motivo pelo qual me mudei de uma cidade para outra é porque conheci um garoto neste jogo, BeLpHeGoR-6-6-6, e na verdade ainda estamos juntos depois de 10 anos. Este jogo une as pessoas. e se você tiver a oportunidade de visitar a Sérvia, visite Banovci e junte-se a mim para tomar uma cerveja gelada à beira do rio.

I was born in a small town located in eastern Serbia, well known for Hood beer and rock and roll, called Zaječar.
However, I moved 8 years ago to a small town near Belgrade, Novi Banovci. It is a very calm and friendly place, situated on the banks of the Danube.
I'm a fashion designer by profession, but I work as a concierge agent (technician) in an American call center.
There's also a fun fact about me: The reason I moved from one city to another is because I met a boy in this game, BeLpHeGoR-6-6-6, and we're actually still together after 10 years. This game brings people together. and if you have the opportunity to visit Serbia, visit Banovci and join me for a cold beer by the river.

Well, Japan, a nation renowned for its rich culture and technological advancement, now faces one of its biggest challenges: a sharp population decline. In 2023, the country recorded an unprecedented population drop, exceeding 837 thousand inhabitants in just 12 months, until October of the same year. This phenomenon puts Japan at the center of global attention, not only because it is one of the leaders in the developed world in terms of demographic contraction and the aging of society, but also because of the economic and social implications that arise from this situation. What is your opinion on the current real situation in your country? Do you see any improvements in the near future, between now and 2030?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Bem, se estamos falando do Japão na vida real, eu teria que decepcioná-lo e dizer que não sou do Japão. Mas estou surpreso com essa informação, pois tive a impressão de que muitas pessoas veem o Japão como a terra dos seus sonhos. Não tenho nenhuma previsão, mas se eles não estiverem indo bem, o resto de nós no mundo já estará ferrado 😱.

Well, if we are talking about Japan in real life, I would have to disappoint you and say that I am not from Japan. But I am surprised by this information, as I got the impression that many people see Japan as the land of their dreams. I don't have any predictions, but if they aren't doing well, the rest of us in the world are already screwed 😱.

BORTOLAZZI:
--- E quanto ao mundo em geral, o que você gostaria de mudar, se pudesse escolher?

What about the world in general, what would you like to change, if you could choose?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Acabaria com a fome de poder e de dinheiro. Todos querem mais, melhor e mais rápido. Isso nos destruirá! A megalomania está cobrando seu preço.
Eu sei que sempre foi assim, mas a diferença entre as pessoas que têm tudo e outras que mal sobrevivem é maior do que nunca. Algo vai acontecer em breve, não tenho certeza do que, mas a Terra não nos “deixará” ser gananciosos e maus uns com os outros por muito mais tempo.
Precisamos trazer de volta a empatia nas pessoas, fazer com que todos se importem com os outros. Apenas uma simples mudança. Alimente animais soltos na rua, deixe-os com água fresca. Ajude um idoso a atravessar a rua. Sorria para alguém sempre que puder. Parece bobo, mas conta.

It would end the hunger for power and money. Everyone wants more, better and faster. It will destroy us! Megalomania is taking its toll.
I know it's always been this way, but the difference between people who have everything and others who barely survive is greater than ever. Something is going to happen soon, I'm not sure what, but the Earth won't “let” us be greedy and mean to each other much longer.
We need to bring back empathy in people, make everyone care about others. Just a simple change. Feed loose animals on the street and provide them with fresh water. Help an elderly person cross the street. Smile at someone whenever you can. It sounds silly, but it counts.


BORTOLAZZI:
--- Você acha que o país em que você reside se parece um pouco com o ePaís no Erepublik?

Do you think the country you reside in looks a little like the eCountry in Erepublik?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Se eu comparar a eSérvia e a Sérvia em termos de políticos, sim, elas são bastante semelhantes. Mas o país como é, bem, eu não diria que há muita semelhança.

If I compare eSerbia and Serbia in terms of politicians, yeah, they are pretty much similar. But country as it is, well I would not say that there is much similarity.

BORTOLAZZI:
--- Que dica você daria para quem for viajar para seu País hoje?

What advice would you give to anyone traveling to your country today?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Se alguém visitar a Sérvia, por favor, não se concentre apenas nas grandes cidades como Belgrado e Novi Sad. Eles são legais, mas você aprenderia mais sobre a Sérvia se visitar monumentos, parques nacionais, nossos lagos e rios, montanhas e mosteiros.
E claro, experimente a nossa comida e bebida Rakija 😀!

If anyone visits Serbia, please don't just focus on the big cities like Belgrade and Novi Sad. They are cool, but you would learn more about Serbia if you visit monuments, national parks, our lakes and rivers, mountains and monasteries.
And of course, try our Rakija food and drink😀!

--- Quais são seus artistas favoritos? Filmes? Você tem alguma dica (seja de filmes/livros) que gostaria de compartilhar conosco?

Who are your favorite artists? Movies? Do you have any tips (whether from films/books) that you would like to share with us?

DR.JEKICA:
+++ Eu ouço muitos gêneros musicais diferentes, mas me classificaria como uma garota do rock and roll. Red Hot Chilly Peppers, HIM, Kiss, Black Sabbath, esses seriam alguns clássicos que eu recomendaria 100%.
Quando se trata de filmes, sou a típica garota romântica, então "The Notebook" (Diário de uma paixão) seria minha primeira recomendação (aviso, esteja preparado para chorar muito). Também Forrest Gump, Green Mile, American Pie... Adoro assistir filmes então minha lista é bem longa 😂

I listen to many different genres of music, but I would classify myself as a rock and roll girl. Red Hot Chilly Peppers, HIM, Kiss, Black Sabbath, these would be some classics that I would 100% recommend.
When it comes to movies, I'm the typical romantic girl, so "The Notebook" would be my first recommendation (warning, be prepared to cry a lot). Also Forrest Gump, Green Mile, American Pie... I love watching movies so my list is quite long 😂

Adoro o seu idioma e está na minha lista aprendê-lo. Curiosidade, uma das primeiras músicas que “aprendi” a cantar quando era pequena foi Lambada - Kaoma!
Não sei muito sobre o país em si (a culpa é minha, Geografia nunca foi minha matéria preferida) mas adoro a maneira como as pessoas parecem ser acolhedoras, adoram dançar, cantar, rir. O temperamento com o qual eu mais vibro. Adoro pessoas com fogo nas veias. Espero ter oportunidade de visitá-lo pelo menos uma vez.

Hey, believe it or not, Brazil is in my top 3 countries where I would love to live.
I love your language and it's on my list to learn it. Fun fact, one of the first songs I “learned” to sing when I was little was Lambada - Kaoma!
I don't know much about the country itself (it's my fault, Geography was never my favorite subject) but I love the way the people seem to be welcoming, they love to dance, sing, laugh. The temperament I most resonate with. I love people with fire in their veins. I hope to have the opportunity to visit it at least once.
