Civilization: My Confidants
Civil Anarchy
It often said that in no one man could ever run a country alone, and this is especially true in my case. The best Presidents have not been the people with the most intelligence, the most drive, to most experience, but rather, those capable of creating a team that can coalesce to meet all of the needs of a country. It really doesn’t matter how strong an individual president is, because without the right team to support them, they’re eventually, inevitably, fail. Therefore, careful consideration must be made as to who is at the top of this team, and who will be helping the President with their most careful choices, and their most trying challenges. The people who make up the administrative side of the cabinet team must be experienced, motivated, and above all, trustworthy. They have to be individuals that the CP personally works well with, as well as individuals that have proven their capacity as leaders. So without further ado, I’d like to introduce the people that people that I would entrust anything to, my great confidants, and my steadfast associates, the administrative team.
Vice President - John Killah
I always knew of John, of his history in the AMP, and his contributions to the executive. Yet, I never really had to interact with him until his term as Secretary of the Media. At that point, I was just getting back into the game, and took sort of an advisory role in the Department of Media considering I had done the job in the past. John was getting angry at his staff not writing effectively, and was trying to figure out how to motivate them. At one point, I just told him, “Dude, you don’t need them. Custer liked using a staff, but it doesn’t mean you have to use one. I didn’t.” Next day, John started writing the WHPRs the way he wanted to, and in the style he liked. The quality of them increased greatly, and it was the moment we became friends and colleagues. Since that point in time, John’s been a great advisor and confidante of mine, someone I can count on to give his whole opinion, and not be afraid of telling the truth because it’s unpopular. Over the course of the few months we’ve worked together, that relationship has been solidified. John might not play the game in the same manner that I do, but he’s a Vice President that does something plenty of others don’t. He’s a player that compliments my skill set, and he’s truly an individual I can count on to get the job done. He’s an invaluable asset to any administrative team, with a depth of experience and motivation that he uses to a great height.
Chief of Staff - Artela
You know, I actually had a bit of difficulty choosing a CoS originally. I was asking a few friends about who they thought would be a good choice, and one of them actually gave me a video instead of an answer. Coincidentally, this person was a huge West Wing fan (great show). When I saw this video, the answer was pretty clear. I first met Artela through eNPR. She was a person who called into the show regularly, and formed a part of the first live audience that truly pushed the show to become better than it was, and take it’s place as a traditional branch of the Media Department. She always served as a person who gave advice on how to pick up certain things, or what topics we should cover. She even watched the show live, and helped co-host a number of times, even though it aired at 3 AM her time. Artela always went out of her way to help out something she believed in, and embodied the idea of an ‘extra mile’ mentality that we all expect of people who work for the eUS Gov. She’s always been there to advise myself, and her friends, with the amount of game experience she’s accumulated over the years. As a former President and CoS, Artela is more than qualified for the position. Overqualified, even. Overall, Artela is one of the most trustworthy and reliable players I’ve had the pleasure of being friends with in this game, and I have the utmost confidence in her abilities as Chief of Staff.

Do you ever have anything positive to say, Reagan?
^
"Do you ever have anything positive to say, Reagan?" Rhetorical question right?
Yeah, I guess it is.
Stewy: brilliant as always.
Sure
Ronald Reagan was the best POTUS ever?

I wasnt too sure about Civil at first but after listening to him on NPR he isnt bad 😛
the eNPR debate showed Civil as the best candidate on the board.
I like the team so far! Missed eNPR unfortunately, but looking forward to hearing more!
@RGR:
1) The phrase is "who's who" not "whose who."
2) Saying RWR was the best POTUS ever is funny but it's actually very negative. Such a world would be unbearable.
3) I think Bruce was hoping you might have something positive to say that is relevant to eRepublik. Way to understand human language in context, Ajay.

I agree I like Civil and he has some good ideas, I just don't like his party boss....

Civil was a champ on eNPR.
@Dru, while Civil may be the in the USWP, that does not mean that he is a pawn. Civil is one of the most independent people in the game, behind maybe Phoenix Quinn. You shouldn't deride an entire party, just because you don't like one person.
After all, many people think the Bastards of Liberty are chill, despite the fact that you are a member.

Hope CTRL comes back up as a topic.
So according to Pizza, i'm a Pfieffer pawn? Shweet, i'm in the club \o/
(I lol'd hard at that comment)
Civil Anarchy is the best choice this month, period.

You can listen the eNPR from yesterday on demand from the same website.
Civil for potus!
Civil has the CvPP support
@Civil: Even more reasons not to vote for you. You have 2 people who are trustworthy and 2 people who are just outright admitted pawns of the would be ruler of the eUS.
@Kemal Ergenekon: Good puppet, do as your told and keep your party in line with the person who only associated with you cause he saw gain for himself (the same person who delayed your funding for months). Glad to see even anarchists can be duped time and time again.
you are the reason I gave Deus Ex: HR a shot.
I voted for 10 cc.
Vote buying, CA, really? How disgusting!
Oh look the same chumps as the previous 3 administrations.
Things must really be headed for change.
