A Cultural Month for the eUK

Day 1,019, 10:05 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by National Newspaper Association

As you probably know, this month the Ministry of Home Affairs was split into three separate departments. Here's a review of what my department, the Cultural department, has been doing this past month, and what we have planned for the last couple of days of our term.

The Media team have continued to do their brilliant work with the NNA round ups, which can be found here:

Entertainment

This month, the Entertainment team has begun a number of new projects, including:

The return of the previously very popular eCricket
eBoxing
The eUK's Premier League Prediction Game
And a new idea called Battle of the Users

None require more than a simple sign up and other than eCricket, which will be a couple of GBP at most, all are 100% free to enter.

The British Culture Celebration

Previously, the MoHA has always run Monarch Week at the end of the term. However, a feeling of general dissatisfaction with the concept has led us to give something different a try. We kicked off with 3 awards: Greatest eBriton, Which eUKer most represents the eUK, and which eUKer is least like the eUK. The nominations and voting can be found here - and the winners were announced in the latest NNA round up.

The second part of the celebration will be a series of games held over the next 2 days. They will be held in the Entertainment section of the eUK forums - Here - so be sure to get yourself there.

So, here's to another good month of eUK Culture!
