We are having a few very nice conversations elsewhere. It isn't all about you.
The issue is my proposal actual makes better long-term development sense for eCanada. We need to discourage our Division 1-3 players from WAMing as it hurts our viability on the battlefield. By raising taxes we discourage low level from players from WAing and keep them from leveling too fast. It also encourages them to not invest in companies and instead focus on their TGs where the real long-term income and benefit lies. But what do I know?
agree😛 you know very little.
Your article will not encourage young players to avoid WAM, but may encourage the misguided view that you are a preposterous buffoon tonight.
As I said, we are having a very nice and productive conversation elsewhere. You should contribute. If you honestly think a case can be made for 20% Work Tax now is the time to lay it out.
Okay okay, you know more than you let on. 🙂
regards
I am contributing. I always do. I just wanted to keep 5 articles on eCanada and didn't feel like writing out a whole article.
I will probably put up a serious article about it tomorrow when I have more time and energy.
The idea of taxing the low quality companies of new players out of profitability so that they don't waste money on companies that really don't contribute much to their development isn't one I would discount outright. But then again, I'm not sure I buy it either.
Do you not think it would work Chochi? We combine this with strong education of new players and we would create a new generation of players with the correct investment to change this game for us. Forget weapons and MUs to help new players. What we need is to encourage the only development that is profitable for new players and the nation, strength training. We combine that with strong community development and war to keep them active and engaged. Listen 20% WT would probably bring us less revenue than we currently enjoy, but it would ensure D1-3 players weren't wasting experience and resources on WAMing.
I think it could work. That's why I don't want to dismiss it outright.
But our record for helping new players has seen as many - possibly more - failures as successes.
So I'll withhold judgement on whether I think it actually would work until I see more details and structure in place.
Is this your way of letting us know you don't want a second term?
Actually read my comment above. I'm making the case that low taxes actually encourage our low level players to make poor game play choices.
I said mine before you said yours so I made a comment on the available information at the time.
I think I was writing my comment when you posted yours. I was just waiting to get a snarky comment to make my case.
Ran out of room in your article, eh? 😃

That seems more like a weekend leisure activity.
I will gladly support the 20% tax. Such a proposal would have my vote. I think we can get a quorum of congress to support this for the good of the country and the economy.
dude, are you a DMV multi?
probably. But even if I'm not, I don't get you people's resistance to taxes. It is baffling to me. You press a silly button that says "work" and you pay a small tax. 1 of 2 things will happen. As employees have less money in their pockets, cost of goods will go down as demand goes down or salaries will increase as employees will seek communes or other black market employment.
Its all simple because its all happened over and over and over. The problem is that people think that the CC number means anything. It doesn't. It means exactly zero. But, taxes mean that our country can fund its own wars without relying on some asshat, like my supposed multi, (no offense dmv) to buy ecanada with his mom's visa. Is that what you want?
For pete's sake, I actually supported the tax increase. Openly. In an article. For those exact reasons.
Eat the chicken!

All I want for Discovery Day is new CS.
