[JP] - Welfare and Responsability
Lucifel
Winter is coming to Japan!
It is my personal belief that i should avoid creating wars or opening new holes in the community, so i’m pointing a previous note to the remaining article in its content it serves no purpose and it’s not intended to offend anyone in specific, being only my own opinion.
This being said i’ll start to write about what seems to be in everyone’s mind.
[Political Party Take Over]:
(most commonly known as PTO)
The facts being stated in some of the media, refer to the situation of a group of people that have been trying to take over the political parties in Japan.
Starting by viewing the Political Party Presidents by Ranking:
#1
#2
#3
#4
#5
#6
#7
This rank shows the biggest parties in Japan, in which the top 5 parties will be allowed to elect their members for Congress representation.
The problem started because of the japanese citizens (of serbian origin) and i would to emphasize «japanese citizens», because we all are japanese citizens despite the Real Life Country we come from.
So referring to those in particular, they have been setting some different pattern to the “japanese culture” in a way that a large part of the population grew in discontent about their way of living in Japan.
Personally, i see this as an aspect that can contribute to the diversity of the community inside Japan, but also there are some basic rules (in my opinion) that should be respected.
Example?
Media Articles in Serbian «-» this is perhaps the most clear sign of distinction between the different nationalities inside Japan, no other citizen does it, and since it’s considered a basic rule they didn’t have the idea of going that way.
Although there are some considerable ammount of Serbian RL citizens, this doesn’t mean that these type of articles should be promoted, because if they don’t include an english version, the intent of the article will be immediatly: only readable for serbian speakers.
(also i won’t admit the argument of: “use google translate”, just because no other citizen makes this type of difference in media article and i don’t see why a single nationality should be an exception)
On other aspect reporting to the fact that 2 of the top 7 Parties in Japan are Presided by Serbian RL Citizens, it doesn’t concern me in this initial thought, and that is due to the fact that being president or congressman will always include that they have (or should) to work for the Country welfare.
If they choose not to, then they should be substituted by other worthy party members able to do the job.
[Q: Well what if a Serbian RL citizen goes for President?]
Well they already did, and even though it wasn’t a bright Government (just because of some lack of time of the CP, and some poor diplomatic skills of some of the members, that aren’t related to being Serbian RL or not, the members weren’t right picked). We were able to pull through the whole Government and to go to new elections like we do monthly.
[Wake up call]:
To all Japanese Citizens, and all others that may be concerned about Japan.
Politics is based on the principle of participation, and not on a base of forcing some people to work in behalf of all others. It is up to each and every single citizen to try and make a difference by giving some of their free time towards the debate and analysis of all laws and decisions that both President and Congress take.
That isn’t at all what the majority does, most of them being almost 100% dependant on articles which the Government publishes regularly as a way to stay up to date with the most recent events inside and outside Japan.
I consider that to be a mistake. Why? Because that places no real pressure on the rulers and our representatives to be amazing at their jobs, no one is really caring on the way things are going to pull off. The majority of Japanese Citizens don’t find Politics appealing though it’s by Politics that all is done: Wars, M.P.P., Taxes, etc.
[Summoning]:
This Country is yours! It is yours to keep and to protect. All citizens should be able to rise and speak and fight for what they believe Japan should be.
Yours trully,
Lucifel

Voted :3
The same happens in ePortugal, where we can find RL brasilian people as PP's and congressman. I supose it's an eWorldwide problem.
or ppl from portugal in brasil >_>
Yes. That's why I said it is eWorldWide, cuz most of the countrys have foreign players trying to get into their politics.
yep it's erepublik :3 we can be friend of everyone and be placed everywhere
v
many eJP citizens write the articles in various language. Chinese language and Spanish language is the usual. Also, Japanese language. (*^-^😉 But I think mostly wrote these articles for eJP's people.
If the principle of writing articles is in such a way that all citizens can understand by writing in english, then there wouldn't be such a great fuss about media's articles.
chinese articles? where? 😮
^this... never seen a chinese article except in areas occupied by eChina and written by eChinese citizens for eChina
Lucifel--a substantial majority (but not all) of the Serbian community in Japan has proven time and time again that they have zero intention to integrate. I have seen alot of whining from Serbs when they don't get what they want, basically denouncing the community and saying they will never work with us again, after all, why work with a community if you intend to run it over. This past election season, Ceda used the fact Kowalski lost as an excuse to do just that (and make that party). An article I wrote a few days ago spoke about a Serb who basically furthermore announced he is a PTOer--that Serb is running for congress in The Last Samurai. Furthermore, it is clear that the intention of The Last Samurai is to knock a party out of elections by whatever means necessary, they keep growing and growing and growing like a weed with CTG members. Personally, although I'd like to see SSG in congress, in the long run I could care less if the gone party was ULJ, SSG, or ISP (any of those could be knocked out come election day at this point), but that intention is still there. The only reason to do that would be to reduce the number of opposing factions (albeit not players) in congress so they could have more control.
Serbs have furthermore been messing with our politics; despite our close relations with the USA via CoT, they voted down our MPP with the USA even the second time, when the intentions were clear, luckily it was still passed though. They also voted to start an impeach against William without any discussion whatsoever and in general have been a nuisance on the voting front.
That's not the worst part of it, they've also made fun of Japanese culture. I have seen domestic Serbians actually insult it. All they care about is warmongering, which may be useful sometimes, but it is no way for Japan to survive long-term.
Lucifel, no offense, wake up. the signs say YES. SSG gave CTG (and now CTG+TLS) a chance, they've blown it.

PS: I'm Batwoman 😛
I do not know ...
I am a dying breed and the fight is in my blood...

I don't take any offense in your words dear ahava3233, the fact of the matter is that all citizens will still be able to vote and to elect and by having their congress seats they can allow more people to disrupt the internal affairs. If the conversation and any type of agreement don't allow Japan to live as its own identity all the effort you've been pulling will go to waste.
Maturity and responsability are the words here, either serbian or non-serbian have to acknowledge that
No at the rate its going "all" citizens will not have the opportunity. That should be apparent to even the most blind person by now.
I tried to see them as something but PTOers, even tried to credit them on the occasions there were a few that made attempts to integrate and participate. They dont want to do that tho, they want to take over since apparently they cant take over eSerbia.
I'm very sorry, Ahava. I tried, i really tried, but you don't give me any choice anymore.
I'm sorry because of good people in SSG. I'm sorry because of my friends in SSG. I hope that they will understand me.
But, this should stop here. Right here. I'm not blaming SSG. I'm not blaming my friends there.
But you passed some borders which you should keep.
What happened? just a couple days ago she was obsessing over your looks.
Kowalski_afc is still a rather attractive man 😛.
Rice, first rule with girls: when they say you are attractive, search their body for weapon. They prefer to use knifes while they are telling such things to you...
Wow. Well i won't mess with this, i'm Serbian in RL but i dont have anything with other serbs here, and i have no interests in politic. I'm only fighting for japan because i choose to, don't care what's happening with the political parties i can go in any of them it's all the same to me.
As I said kid...a majority.
There are a couple of Serbs that have proven to me they are of good intention.

There are also others who have not shown whether or not they lean in either direction. The Serbian community here is pluralistic unlike what some here may believe, but a majority has ill intention.
I welcome you if you intend to work with Japan's community. Feel free to join SSG, we do not discriminate by Nationality.
Thank you. It hurts to see japan getting beaten like this, i want to help japan grow (if i can). For the time i've been here it looks like CTG is just trying to get more congressmen nobody is talking about freeing Japan. I read articles and everybody says that they have a plan, i don't see that we lost more than half of our Defence shield (around 5 bilion) and RoC half of that i don't see us winning and how to strike back.... I'm not really into politics much so i don't know much, just saying my opinion dunno if it right or wrong...
Scoiatael,
Politics here are about more than war, they're about how to run a country. This is what this whole congress election matter is all about.
There is a lack of discussion on the matter due to the nature of the war. Simply striking back isn't really an option without tremendous support and a diplomatic plan, we don't have the funds or the manpower. It would be financial suicide to do that simply because RoC is like a hydra. They are right next door--so if you cut off one head, another will easily sprout with a new war.
RoC is not like Portugal, who we were able to kick back to Europe, not to be seen again unless they are willing to make a large investment into another airstrike.
The issue with eRoC is their willingness to spend buckets of real cash into eRepublik to buy their win. Its not something we can counter.
I hope you liberate your regions soon.
