Here are some updates from our cabinet 🙂

Department of Foreign Affairs- Binda33
Foreign Affairs: Regional
I am keeping in contact with all of our neighbours. This is usually via irc, though in game messages are also used.
I have contacted all of our regional allies along with a few others to ask for support in our War with Chile. I haven't heard back from them all yet but ones that I have are supportive.
MPPs are up to date, with more Countries contacting us daily asking for more. Each request is discussed and decided upon on the Cabinet forum. We have budgeted for 25 MPPs this term.

The Department of Immigration - Molly Jo
The Department of Immigration has its Application Back, and will look to make sure all current applicants know to fill it out and that we can not approve anyone at this time.

Department of Finance - irule777
The Department of Finance has been tracking some average income since the beginning of the term with some major increases with the additions of Queensland now to our regions and hopefully more to come. We're currently working with training the new deputies and interns in the finance department and teaching them our ways. We've also already transferred the ADF 650k as part one of their term funding. We'll be monitoring their spending on ensuring it goes to good use.
So far we've signed 4 MPP's (1 pending) this term costing us $40,000 which is right on budget with our allotted 250k for MPP's this month. The treasury has as well been capable of keeping up with the MPP cost and leaving some left over for RBA reimbursement at the end of the term. We're looking forward to continued region gaining and additional tax income for the rest of the month.

Dept Of Education Venja
The Department of Education has been busy spreading the knowledge and helping new players etc.
There have been 2 articles this week, the first relates to the Cabinet, who are the players an what are their roles etc.

The other article was about using irc and was aimed at players who know little or nothing about irc.
New Players - How to join in with irc
The Department also provides direct assistance in the irc channel #aushelp - as do several other citizens - who combine to ensure a good coverage time for players to be able to ask for help.
The New Player Reward Scheme is also in operation via the forum NPRS details and signup. This scheme encourages new players to interact via forum and irc and provides rewrds for doing so.
