The Presidential Election - A Ballot Breakdown.
Muglack
I decided to do the country a favor and do a quick rundown of everyone who's running so you'll be more informed as voters, and be able to make a better decision on election day.
You're welcome.
TyraelSnow - Egotistical @$$hat. Would do a good job for 3 days, then either lose interest or go off the deep end. I probably would of voted for this guy over Aeriala, but to be honest, it would of been a hard decision.
ElPatoDiablo - No one knows him, so no one is gonna vote for him. You probably shouldn't bother either. If you're one of his supporters your vote is probably better used on your second choice because they have a better shot of winning, regardless of who it is. Unless it's IronToader, because if ElPatoDiablo is your first choice, and Toader is your second, you should probably do everyone a favor and not vote at all.
WallyCleaver - The first time he was elected he was active for a handful of days and then disappeared. I'm guessing that wouldn't happen this time, but it probably wouldn't matter. WallyCleaver is the "Status Quo" candidate this election. A vote for him, is a vote for the same thing eCanada's done for the past 6 months. He's not on a crusade to change things, and he won't try and sell you the world to win the election either.
Max Maher - The dark horse candidate. Max Maher probably doesn't think he can win, or even get a significant number of votes, which I think is too bad. Max's track record in this country is almost as colorful and illustrious as my own, in a G-rated, don't rock the boat kind of way. He's the "I want a brighter future" candidate. If you're optimistic about the future of the country, and are willing to roll the dice on a President that might do something to slow the decline Max Maher's your man.
IronToader - There's really not much I can say about IronToader. Basically you can re-read the ElPatoDiablo breakdown, and instead of the part where I said no one knows him, replace that with everyone knows him. Also, instead of not doing anything, he's done tons of stuff, except none of it's been good.
Overview.
Personally this election comes down to two candidates. WallyCleaver and Max Maher, and the differences are clear. Wally's a vote for status quo, and Max is a vote for a chance at incremental change that might take us in a new and interesting direction that we can build on in months to come.
The choice is yours, but if you're voting for someone other than one of these two candidates, you're probably doing the country a disservice.

Rolo and Wally will be buying votes, so I predict Wally will come second. TS will win so the trolls can enjoy hacking on his every move for a week or two, before he quits or they find a reason to impeach.
Same ol' story.
Good Read Muglack.

Good review.
And I think Max would do a great job.
I'm voting for Toader. I believe he can do good! 😉

Why don't we sponsor a Polish delegate to be our CP, bring some fresh air into this crusty position, eh?
Hmm.... I could've sworn I was like an international celebrity or something....

Thanks for the good words, Muglack. : )
Muglack, I don't see your name on the list ? If noone is good for you then why didn't you candidate ?
Lame article, no sign of a good proof for a lot of empty words.
Sure why not I'll log on to vote for Wally this election.
I am voting for the devilish duck. Only candidate that seems to give a damn.

Welcome to Canada. You must be new here.

not a great read and a clearly biased view.... i prefer the unbiased views as they are much more incite full
Its too bad so many people will be bought, the only way eCanada can rebuild is if they stop trying for the easy way out
It's actually not biased at all. I left all of my personal feelings out of it.
Brought to you by the guy who wasn't satisfied with any answer given at the debate, and belligerently said candidates were avoiding answering questions which they clearly did answer.
Last time I checked, Muglack, a debate wasn't based on multiple-choice or short-answer fill in the blanks. 😉
Also, nice of you to accuse me of losing interest, considering I've dropped more time, money, energy, XP, etc... into this game in 1 year than you have in 3.
You didn't answer any of the questions. You were asked what you would do about the shrinking economy, and MU funding, and you said you'd use a 10% growth rate, and fund MU's equally. First off, a 10% growth rate is complete nonsense, and the questions was asking where you'd get MU funding from when there's no money coming in, a topic you clearly avoided.
The second question asked which alliances you would pursue if elected, and you said "I like sending PMs on IRC and in game. That's what I did for Jacobi even after he fired me but I kept working for eCanada"
Another clear non-answer.
The last question was about Portugal. A question you all answered, but no one really cares about since your stance on Portugal is about the smallest factor I've ever seen factored into an election in this game.
Finally it is nice that I accuse you of losing interest. Oh sweet, you've dumped more time, energy, money, XP, etc.... into that game in 1 year than I have in 3. Fantastic. You're a real super hero.
I like that you fail to mention that in that same time period you've walked away twice. Spending all that time and money on a browser game only does one thing, increase your chances of burnout. Thanks for making my point for me.
