is starting a commune worth it?

we see market wage 84. and average wage 42. so half the workers are working in communes.
i am wondering if it is worth it. i guess theoretically i could save 133*82*.15=1650 usd a day. which i guess is a bit of money.
and because half of Americans run communes maybe I should do it.
what do you guys think is avoiding taxes a good thing?
my other idea of not having any workers. was too boring.
would 75 people be interested?

That much work, a RL job would pay you better.
No, unfortunately.
Your math assumes that workers pay is either $1 or $84 which is not true
The large communes I am aware of are run by MUs and have scripts to keep track of how many times each worker works and pays them once a week.
I've done a mini commune that I do manually - maximum of 4 commune workers - now I have 2. without some automation I would never try 75.
On you cost saving - I split the taxes with commune workers so the benefit may not be as much as you think.
>Your math assumes that workers pay is either $1 or $84 which is not true.
Can you explain this more?
i was trying to say if the commune paid everyone 1usd as opposed to the market wage then donated the wage to the worker. they would avoid the tax,
i guess you could be saying communes pay weps and food sometimes instead of money, to save on the VAT also!
so maybe i will have to re do the math and pay my workers with food and weps instead of money
"we see market wage 84. and average wage 42. so half the workers are working in communes"
Here you seem to be assuming pay is either $1 for commune and 84 for everyone else & since average is 42 - half of the folks must work in a commune
When wages are rising like they have most people are being paid less than the current market wage - as you discovered after you fired your last batch of workers ( you really should stop doing that)
yeah i had quite a few working at 50, now i got to pay everyone 85.
and i guess i do get your logic, and was benefiting from it!
so that would imply less than half the population are apart of communes, so i should be able to easily get the min wage raised 🙂
I just got over running one with around fifty workers, did it without scripts, which was a pain. I paid twice a week. It is the only way to run a company and make a profit, but in the end, it wasn't worth the hassle.
