eBulgaria Congress Begins Second Vote on Making eTurkey their Natural Enemy
Since eTurkey’s falling out with ONE last year, the Mediterranean superpower has been courting membership in the EDEN alliance. This has sparked outrage and discontent from eBulgaria, a neighbour and long time enemy of eTurkey. Failing to gain support to block the admission of eTurkey to the alliance, eBulgaria is posturing that it will leave EDEN should eTurkey be granted full admission.
Following a vote that ended earlier today, eBulgaria’s Congress is once more voting on whether they wish to make pro-EDEN, eTurkey their natural enemy. In the vote that closed earlier today, eBulgaria narrowly struck down the measure (17 yes to 20 no). Currently the vote stands at 13 in favour and 3 opposed, however there are over 20 hours of voting left.
Should eBulgaria choose to make eTurkey their natural enemy, they will be nullifying all of their existing EDEN and pro-EDEN alliances. The move will result in a major power-shift in the region and will shift the balance of power to the ONE alliance and its affiliate eNations, resulting in major damage to eBulgaria’s neighboring allies of eGreece, eRomania and eCroatia (who are more then likely the first to be attacked by a strengthen ONE alliance).
In response to the votes in eBulgaria, eTurkey has launched its own votes to make eBulgaria it’s natural enemy, the current vote, put up three hours after eBulgaria, has three in favour and 1 opposed.
ePoland and eSerbia Fight to Access the Black Sea and eTurkey
In an effort to exploit the growing rift between eBulgaria and EDEN, ePoland and eSerbia have begun to fight their way across the eUkraine with the goal of reaching Taurida, a region that borders Black Sea Coast of Turkey. Whoever gets there first (likely ePoland) will make eTurkey their natural enemy and attempt to invade the eNation. This will force EDEN to deploy troops to defend eTurkey, a measure that would further alienate eBulgaria.
With the ONE alliance currently in shambles, any move that the alliance can make to drive rifts between T/EDEN member-eNations is a must.
Recognising this threat, EDEN has started prioritised blocking the advancement of eSerbia and ePoland through eUkraine. However, with only two regions between both eSerbia and ePoland and a border with eTurkey, it may be too late for EDEN to stop the assault.
Pro-ONE eNations Face the Threat of Complete Wipes
Yesterday I reported on the fact that many ONE member-eNations are facing wipes this week before Congress elections. Today, I will expand the list to include a list of all eNations that face the threat of being wiped against their will.
I have categorized the list into three alliance categories (Pro-ONE, Other/Neutral, and Pro-T/EDEN). In an effort to not suppose any outcome I am merely listing the eNations as they currently exist on the map as Completely Wipe or Under Threat of Being Wiped.

What do people think about the new greyscale (with colour highlights) map? Should I keep that going in future articles? it is easier to understand?
v
I doubt that Poland wants war with Turkey. It is more Serbia trying to move its capital city in Ukraine or maybe somewhere in Asia (for example in Iran to protect them from Turks).
All in all great article : D
eBulgarian congress requirements: 10-15 years old....
Sweet

on greyscale map: it's excellent!
would be even better to increase the brightness a little bit (so the grey areas would appear to fade more into the background) but just personal preference 🙂

Great article as usual

Good work Rog
Thanks for providing the only real newspaper in eRep. Also, greyscale is much better.
nice analysis Roger.
greyscale looks good.
Maybe it could be tweaked for contrast, but the new map is really cool. Makes it easier to see the important parts.
You deserve more media moguls.
Looks like EDEN is becoming quite the global empire... Bad news is the world's bound to buck back, and I'm unsure as to whether or not EDEN can maintain this superiority.
I hope you don't think that the Bulgarian women look like that granny above. In fact I think she is a Russian or at least she looks like one.
There are many articles about Bulgaria-Turkey problems. Beside all those NE laws (Just to mention that Turkey first proposed Bulgaria for NE in this series of laws) Turkish players support and fight in RW in Bulgaria, of course Bulgarians do the same in Turkey. Who is right and who is wrong I can’t say because as a RL Bulgarian it is hard for me to be impartial. Now Bulgaria wants a new meeting of EDEN HQ in order to change some of the leaders and to propose a new charter. More about it you can read here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/wind-of-change1-1972574/1/20
I want to correct you that Denmark is not a pro-One country. They have a treaty with Germany to stay occupied as they face some PTO problems.
You forgot to mention Norway. An EDEN country that is under Serbian PTO for two months now, is wiped by Finland for the same reason.
Czech Republic also is not a pro-One country now. They sighed a MPP with Bulgaria in order to stop Slovakia and Austria from their maneuvers in Central Europe.
About the events you can write about is the INCI – China problems. Some Cyprians (i.e. Turks from INCI) run for the congress in China. That made the Asians to stop approving citizenship requests from this little country. As a result INCI started a RW in the Chinese holdings in Pakistan. http://www.erepublik.com/en/military/battlefield/22162
and ROC people fight against in the RW hard today:

check it 🙂
Denmark is no pro one, japan and SK are not really pro One (they are rtying to get ONE support, ofc, but they werent before and japan has treid to get Terra support)
Thanks for the comments everyone.
@ega😛 Lol, I don't think that is what all Bulgarian women look like, however I thought her picture accurate expressed the situation of malcontent many EDEN members are feeling about the current situtation of their alliance.
@egad and Skalg von Tuari, you are both correct, in fact Denmark is complicit in their wipe by eGermany. I have erred in publishing them with the pro-ONE countries, it should have been removed from the list with eNorway, who also is complicit in their own wipe. As I stated above the lists are only meant to identify eNations that opposed their being wiped.
@Skalg von Tuari:I disagree that eSouth Korea is not a pro-One country, other then ties to eBulgaria all of there former MPPs were with ONE members and they recently joined the EPC alliance.
@ega😛 I never listed eCzech Rep as a Pro-ONE country they are in the Neutral list. Also I plan to cover the INCI situation soon, I watched it start yesterday in Frontier Province.
As always, I generally appreciate criticism and debate, its exactly what this game needs.
No Offense but TEDEN must recover and stop Bulgaria Turkey rift in order to survive,otherwise....they are already sorta dead..
I'm British.
Your argument is invalid.
