Uma vez mais, vamos apresentar uma nova entrevista, desta vez como a equipa do Governo do eUK. Sendo um dos países fundadores da TWO, era imperativo saber qual a sua opinião sobre o Erepublik, eUK e ePortugal.



Eis a entrevista:

1 - Conheces Portugal na vida real?

Conheço Portugal sim. Parece-me ser um país razoavelmente simpático, com uma enorme paixão por futebol. Como não possuem uma Pista de Fórmula 1, não sei realmente muito mais.. Ahh e lembrei-me agora que a vossa Capital é Lisboa 😃

Infelizmente, não. Estive aí uma vez quando era novo. Gostaria de visitar Portugal no futuro, e espanha também. E bem, gostaria de visitar todas as regiões honestamente, eu gosto de história, pelo que adoraria vê-la..

Claro que conheço Portugal, mas não posso afirmar que alguma vez tenha olhado para a sua cultura ou história. 🙂

2 - Como defines o povo Português?

O povo Português parece ser bastante amigável, pelo menos daquilo que percebi dos poucos portugueses que conheci na minha vida.

Não consigo dizer, dado não possuir qualquer experiência real com portugueses, pelo que não tenho qualquer definição..

3 - Qual a melhor qualidade, e o pior defeito dos Britânicos?

Eu diria que a melhor qualidade do povo Britânico é provavelmente a sua capacidade de respeitar pessoas de outros países - excluindo os membros do BNP e racistas em geral. Temos muitos defeitos, assim como é nos outros países, mas na minha opinião os nossos massivos exércitos de ___ of chavs let us down, innit blud!

Umm, diria que a melhor qualidade que temos é o nosso estoicismo e capacidade para fazer as coisas andar, independentemente de tudo. O nosso maior defeito seria que votamos à direita demasiadas vezes 😛

Melhor qualidade é definitivamente a nossa aspiração para descobrir coisas novas (na minha opinião), e o nosso maior defeito seria não termos inventado ainda as armas a laser :3.

Pior defeito: por vezes a nossa boa aparência distrai as outras naçõe...quer dizer..olhem para nós.

As pessoas do UK são unidas! Esta é a nossa melhor qualidade! O pior? Mmmm... precisamos de jogar mais! 🙂

4 - Como é que definirias a comunidade do eReino Unido?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
A nossa comunidade in-game é bastante diversificada e as nossas diferenças muitas vezes dão origem a discussões mas apesar de tudo temos uma -maioridade- de pessoal generoso e simpático aqui. (Dica: Evitem o Waynekerr se conseguirem)

Tempestuosos, indisciplinados e apaixonados.

A comunidade é maravilhosa, e os trolls são fixes também.

5 - Qual é a tua opinião sobre a posição de Portugal no jogo?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
Realmente não sei muito sobre Portugal in-game, portanto não acredito que consiga dar uma opinião muito bem informada. Tivemos em guerra no passado e isso estragou muito as nossas relações mas acredito que dado tempo ainda conseguiremos reconstrui-las.

Penso que Portugal está entre a espada e a parede. De um lado, tens Espanha que quer algumas regiões vossas e não gosta de Portugal. No entanto, fazem parte da TWO que são enormes e poderosos. Ir contra eles significaria que seriam wipados permanentemente. Por isso acho que a vossa posição é má e que têm que acordar com Espanha mesmo com o apoio de países como a Sérvia e a Eslovénia.

Sou realmente horrível nos Negócios Estrangeiros. Mas vocês não parecem estar-se a safar muito mal. Têm algumas regiões e isso tem que ser qualquer coisa 🙂.

Perto da Espanha. Estão sempre perto de Espanha aliás. Talvez deveríamos fazer qualquer coisa para mover-vos para a América do Sul por um pouco.

Portugal, como a Roménia não sabe o que fazer… Juntar-se à TWO, juntar-se à CoT…. manter-se neutro… Não podem ficar neutros para sempre...

6 -Acreditas que possamos ser aliados a sério?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
Uma aliança entre os dois paises poderá ser algo que ocorrerá no futuro próximo, mas não agora. Tendo em conta a guerra dos Azores que aconteceu apenas há uns meses.

Sim, acho que quaisquer paises conseguem ser aliados a sério se o quiserem.

Como disse, sou realmente horrível em Negócios Estrangeiros, mas tudo é possível em termos de relacionamentos. Digo, tivemos uma guerra com a Argentina. E agora somos amigos deles.

7 - O que achas de Espanha?

Eu mantenho-me fora dos Negócios Estrangeiros normalmente mas típicamente a Espanha teve sempre lá quando precisamos e é um membro sólido da TWO que esteve sempre lá nas guerras.

Eu gosto de Espanha e do povo Espanhol. Algumas vezes, discordo com a politica de FA (Foreign Affairs) deles (por exemplo, acho que eles podiam ser aliados da Argentina e não do Brazil) mas ao mesmo tempo gosto deles e acho que são aliados sólidos. Ainda me lembro do apoio deles contra o Canadá em Janeiro e contra a Argentina em Março/Abril. Por isso, a não ser umas diferenças em política, gosto de Espanha

Não tenho nada contra eEspanha, mas alguns parecem paranóicos. Ora por uma boa razão oi não em relação à Argentina.

8 - O que é que o Reino Unido irá fazer este mês?

A Grã-Bretanha tem-se concentrado em manter a sua comunidade viva este mês ao publicar artigos de qualidade de cada um dos ministérios. Houve alguns soluços que nos paralisaram algumas vezes mas iremos supera-los! No entanto, enquanto escrevo isto, o BigAnt voltou e isso irá mexer connosco muito, yay. >___>

Dear Citizens,

Once again, we present you with another interview and this time with the eUK Government Cabinet. Being one of the founders countries of TWO it was mandatory to know its opinion about erepublik, eUK and ePortugal.



Now the interview:

1 - Do you know Portugal in real life?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
I know of Portugal, yes. It seems to be a reasonably nice country that has a huge football fan-base however, as they do not have a Formula1 track I don't really know a great deal more. Oooh... just remembered that their capital is Lisbon! 😃

No, sadly. I have been there once when I was young. I would like to visit Portugal in the future, and Spain. Well, the whole region to be honest, I like th history so would like to see it.

Of course I know of Portugal, but I can't say I've ever looked into it's history or culture 🙂.

I know of Portugal but i've never been (i have some geography skills though)

2 - How do you define the Portuguese people?

The Portuguese people seem to be very friendly, at least that is what I have gathered from the few I have met in my life.

I can't say I have any real experience with the Portuguese so have no real judgement...

I really don't know 🙂, I couldn't really say anything without it being stereotypical or untrue.

3 - What is the highest quality and the greatest fault of the British?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
I'd say that the best quality of the British people is probably their ability to respect people from other countries -excluding members of the BNP of course and general racists-. We have many faults, as is the same with every countries people but in my opinion our massive armies of chavs let us down, innit blud!

Umm, I would say the highest quality we have is our stoicism and ability to get on with things no matter what, our greatest fault would be that we vote Right win far too often 😛

Highest Quality, is definitely our aspiration to discover new things (in my opinion) and greatest fault would be not inventing laser guns yet :3.

UK ppl are united! This is the best quality of them! The worst? Mmmm... they need to play more! 🙂


4 - How do you define the community in the English game?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
Our in-game community is rather diverse and differences sometimes lead to arguments but overall we have a -mostly- kind-hearted bunch of folks over here. (Quick tip: Avoid Waynekerr if you can.)

5 - What is your opinion on the current position of Portugal, in the game?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
I don't really know much about Portugal in-game and therefore don't believe I can give a well-informed opinion. We have been to war with them in the past and that greatly damaged our relationship but I reckon we can still rebuild that if given time.

Bohemond4 (CP)
I think Portugal is stuck between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand you have Spain who wants certain regions of yours and doesn't like Portugal. Yet they are part of TWO who are massive and powerful. Opposing them means you will be perma-wiped again. So I think the position sucks as you have to agree with Spain, mostly, in order to stay on the map despite the support from countries like Serbia and Slovenia.

I am absolutely awful at Foreign Affairs. But you guys don't seem to be doing too badly. You've got a few regions and that's gotta be something 🙂.

Next to spain. you're always next to spain actually. maybe we should shake things up move you guys to south america for a bit

Portugal, like Romania dont know what to do... Join TWO, join COT.... stay neutral... U can't stay neutral forever...

6 - Do you believe that we can be real allies?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
An alliance between our 2 nations would be something I think could occur in the distant future but not quite yet. Considering the Azores campaign happened only a few months ago.

Yes, ultimately I think any country can be real allies if they wish

As I say, I'm no dab hand at Foreign Affairs, but anything is possible in terms of relations. I mean, we had a war with Argentina. Now we're their friend.

No, not in the foreseeable future

7 - What do you think of Spain?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
I steer clear of Foreign Affairs mostly but typically Spain have been good allies of ours and a solid member of TWO who have always been there for us in wars.

Bohemond4 (CP)
I like Spain and the Spanish people. Sometimes I disagree with their FA policy and direction (for instance, I think they can be allies with Argentina and should drop inactive Brazil), but at the same time I like them and think they are solid allies. I still remember their support against Canada in January and Argentina in March/April. So other than a disagreement on policy, I like Spain

I have nothing against eSpain, but some do come across as paranoid. Whether for good reason or not in regards to Argentina.

8 - What will England do in this office?

LongShotzZ (MoE)
Britain has been focused on getting its community alive this month by releasing quality articles from each of the ministries. There have been a few hiccups so far that have stalled us a couple of times but we shall get through them! However, as I'm writing this BigAnt has returned and that's going to mess us up real good, yay. >___>
