What really matters

Day 827, 10:32 Published in Norway Norway by Freke

These days, we experience that many parts of the eRepublik community is on hold. A number of previously active people are waiting out for the new modules, not willing to put too much effort and time into something that will change drastically, or even be gone, once the new features come in place.

The technical aspects of the game are of course very important parts of the eRepublik experience. But what matters just as much are the people inhabiting the countries, the people who create organizations and companies, the people who are employees, the people fighting in wars.

Creating an interesting and fun environment for all these people, especially giving them a good welcome as new citizens is a vital task that can not be performed by game mechanisms alone. Helping with some food and gifts is good, the donation program from Immigrasjonsverket is excellent. The dedication of experienced players to sponsor newcomers, answer their questions and give them a good start is priceless.

These initiatives are made by humans for humans, and represent a spirit that eNorway must take good care if, cherish and nurture. Keeping this spirit is what Teknokratene is all about. And this is why it is important that even in these times of lingering, your vote still counts. The eNorwegian congress must not be allowed to become a sleeping assembly of gold digging individuals.

Vote for a better eNorway. Vote for Teknokratene.
