The Social Bank and Socialist Economy Concept - Schnitzl is back!
Schnitzl
We at the Austrian Communist Party believe in a fair world, where wealth is shared equally. We would like to support new and old members of Austria, and here is a concept how.
The Austrian Government should focus on the well-being of citizens and maintain peace:
- will raise minimum salary to 10 ATS
- The VAT for food will be decreased to 5% while weapons will be increased to 10%
- The import tax for food will be increased to 50% to protect Austrian products
Goal is to ensure the well-being of the citizens and future immigrants, while focus less on war.
The state will create state-funded companies:
- where people will work for a wage 20-30 ATS
- the food will be sold on the Austrian market for the well-being not for profit
- these companies will export products to allies of Austria
Establishment of the Social Bank:
- it helps citizens (min. 6 months citizen, active) to improve their company, improve working conditions and to help export Austrian products abroad
The goal is to make Austria more attractive for immigration, ensure everyone can prosper and the economy will be balanced between state and market.

Ich mag Schnitzel
Schnitzl mag Luis 😛
Glaub ich nicht, das wird von mir immer gefressen
in Soviet Russia Schnitzel eats Luis, duh!
Communism is a crime against humanity and against the laws of God!
Hahaha! Can't believe what i read....
Plop!!
Hahahahahahahaha
Communism at least tries to help thy neighbor. What has Capitalism done lately for the Poor, Hungry, and Dying?
North Korea
North Korea has isolated itself from the Global Community, and it uses most of its resources towards its military.
I don't see how a political ideology is against the laws of God. In fact Jesus Christ teaches us to help the poor, feed the poor, to clothe, and help the sick. We are expected to do this out of the kindness of our heart as Christ did, and not for profit.

so are far-right wing parties!
you're wrong
Ideology alone is not "deadly", only how people use it. And if you look on ideology basis socialism, communism doesn't contain race, religious, etc. outcasting while on the other hand right-extremism differs people!
Love your next, said the Bible, and I believe those far-rights don't really love certain ethnic groups : P
Vreath you are not competent in this matter. And God don't love every race and especially not every religion. So..
Hahahahahahaha 🙂
We already had enough discussions on those ideologies ZoltanB 😁
To the proposals at hand (I'm very happy about Schnitzl bringing a discussion up):
Wages are already about twice as high as the proposed minimum salary. A lower minimum salary also gives our entrepreneurs more flexibility in case of changes to the economy.
Lowering the VAT for food is maybe not too good for the national income. Raising it for weapons might help there, but our weapon prices are already higher than abroad and people could stop buying in Austria if they increase even more.
Raising the import tax for food would probably lead to more income for the state and our local companies. However, we had little food on the market in recent weeks and without external competition, prices would probably go up.
In this game, the whole economy is only geared towards war. Even food consumption is directly related to war because why else would you consume food but to fight more?
State funded companies are not that easy to organise anymore (they have to be managed by a player account) and the workforce in Austria is already low. Higher wages in national companies would also lead to private companies going out of business because they can't compete with these wages. And the state would go bankrupt soon as well with these wages because either the prices are too high and people stop buying, or the state has to pay the wages with taxes and that money does not magically appear.
Also, many of our allies have bigger food production bonuses/i and already more food on offer on their markets than Austria.
A "social bank" is obviously a good thing, but financing it is tough. When you look at our income (~1000 ATS per day), it gets clear that the state can not do this. I believe a similar program in eGermany was/is funded by many private donations. While we have some old players here, I fear not many can afford to donate enough money for this program to work.
Please do not think I'm just dismissing these proposals. I would love to make many of them happen, but the economic reality in a small nation in this game is harsh.
yes
I'm certain there are more and probably even more intelligent comments on our economy out there - everyone else is invited to add their opinions 🙂
@Schwrzwolf: I agree party what you wrote. Although I think 2 (major) things differently:
- Since eAustria is a small nation, should stay neutral and independent, that is why who wants to be a warmonger should have the opportunity (and if some citizen wants to fight can fight as ally of a nation)
- Since eAustria is small, we should attract more people, and how else can we do it better if not with social benefits
The economy is not powerful, but we should support companies to hire more people, promote productivity and export, while protecting our market.
Thank you for bringing this discussion and also for the very interesant comments (except those from zoltanb, but there are funny!).
I would like to have more article like these!!
I don't really care about your opinion. I know that I'm right and thats it!
Hahahahhahahaha... es wird immer besser!! 😃
Voted and suscripted!
thanks! 🙂

auch von mir vote&sub. endlich wieder ein "neues" gesicht 😃
I try to share my penis equally among the ladies. I can haz communism?
I like the concept - except for the neglect for fighting. Fighting is an integral part of the game, and should be supported, especially if you look at our lack of military force in lower dvisions. Ultimatley, stronger fighters help us support our visions and plans for eAustria.
Many people, such as myself, only rely on manager work because the economy module in erep ist broken beyond repair.
I guess if the government pays for the wages of the workers, it should be no problem to donate the excess production.
Insidator: The concept has nothing against fighting (if someone wants to fight, it is allowed, lets be honest would be boring just to work), but this concept primary focuses on economical and social welfare. First we should have a stronger economy. I'm working on a 2.0 version based on reasonable feedbacks
Good point. I am also thinking about the training posibilities for the players in the lower divisions. They should be support somehow... it could be another goal of such a bank?
Possible, although first is economy
