OK, French below.




A fellow French player did a small piece about Nevada ("Nevada is the place to be"). I thought I’d do a piece on Arizona -- since I’ve been following the battle all day. I’m interning at the French Military Command. Call it a trial by fire! Please note that I did mostly watching. I did a total of 156,126 in the Campaign. Mostly in Battles 4 and 8. Now I know you guys will say "There were plenty of battles yesterday" -- yup, I know. Some might be more epic then Arizona; yesterday's Nevada certainly was.

The Serbian situation

Day 1348, second day of revolt against Serbia, we all woke up to the reality that Serbian’s dominance had started to wane. Read this article by Stepup -- it shows that Serbia’s Elite where somewhat shaken by the previous day’s events. For us in Terra/Eden we felt we had definite wins. In France, we celebrated Moscow’s liberation, and we were thrilled with Bukovina and Crisana... But the real focus had been Nevada. And we lost Nevada after a long night of back & forth, and EPIC crossfire!

So if the battle of today didn’t match yestermorn’s intensity, we still had plenty of pressure on Serbia; and they gave back in due kind! France’s battle orders were to focus on Arizona (battle 9183); and we really thought we’d see another Nevada.




The back and forth

From the get-go we knew that Arizona would be a tough nut to crack. By the first 45 minutes both sides started fighting hard to get the upper hand!

The Serbs let us win the first bout but it was a hard won start. For battle 2 we needed a breather and Serbia took the second battle without us being able to score more than a few hundred points. Colin Lantrip took the battle 2 BH.



The Heat of the Arizona Sun Beats Down

For the next two battles we had a real seesaw, with major damage being delt on both sides. Battle 3 was hard fought with neither side giving an inch -- and a score that crept up on both sides. On our side we had ariovistus hitting hard (800,000+) but it wasn’t enough and Aeriala went all in and cracked the million damage (1,100,000+) and took hold of the pricey BH medal. The Serbian side was well organised with only a few players hitting more than 200,000 in damage. Zligor (480,000+) took the Serbian BH, but his runner-up kowalski_afc only dealt 280,000 or so in damage -- clearly the Serbs were mobilised to fight on our superstars. And that showed in Battle 4: They came back from behind to take a lead well past 70 minutes into the round. Stepup (of Elite) took the BH. On the US side we had Andrei Lebow (680,000+) as BH, with ariovistus making another big contribution, and Romper coming in with third highest damage.



All goes downhill from there... wait a minute!

Yeah, actually I don’t need to show you the next 3 battles: they were straight US victories, we we looked at each other wondering where the Serbs had all gone! On battle 5 & 7 we were at 70% dominance for most of the time... it was ridiculous. I even asked the French Commanders if we should instead change orders and have our soldiers hit on Western Siberia, where a RW had just started. Serbs made a small show on Battle 6, but nothing that wasn’t dealt with quickly. Lordbass (346,000) a French militiaman from Blood & Wine took the BH, with Josh Frost following him closely (316,000).

On Battle 8, though, we got our ass kicked. It was tough going and the Serbs took the upper hand after the 40th minute. Crazy damage was dealt again. We had a lot of French troops participating, and some made it to the top 5. Frakal (597,000+) from our Kraken regiment who took the BH. ariovistus made a big show, as did Messager (from the Rapace regiment of the French Army) and Technician: but all this talent did not prevent the Serbs; who clearly had more troops contributing to the score.

Battle 9 started with a huge Serbian lead. We had Colin Lantrip hitting in mid battle and the Serbian melted away as more of our guys joined the fight. We stuck to the 50% line and kept it there for the rest of the battle. Lantrip took the BH (840,000 damage) and axe238Man (580,000) followed behind. On the Serbian side Zigazaga had the BH since mid battle.

Man, it’s getting late

By this point I’m on my third Caipirinha and I’m out of limes... I stuck around -- even though I was out of health, tanks and foods. I had donated another batch of tanks to Glove for his Eden/Terra vs ONE media-war article. It was probably too late for the Serbs to hit in any great numbers, but still both sides had big players who stayed-up.

In Battle 10 we had Matthieu Bonne hitting. I’m amazed by this guy; in 12 hits he dealt about 300,000 in damage. He took the BH in 12 hits, wow! Matthieu, please adopt me! But of course Matthieu is legendary here in France.

Of course, I just HAD to take the screens of the last two battles; we just made quick work because of the time difference. (Although Matthieu is in Europe still).



Enjoy these last two screens, because the were the fruit of a hard day. And even though we won the day, I come to realize just how good the Serbs are. We barely square-up against them. And their ability to mobilize is impressive. GG Serbia.


I’m not sure if I’ll do another tomorrow.

je me suis donc dis que j’allais faire l'Arizona. puisque j’ai suivi la bataille toute la journée autant en vous faire part en détail! Voyais-vous je suis en stage à l’Etat Major, et je squatte le chan en suivant les directives de kev2969 et Blabla36. Veuillez noter que j’ai surtout surveillé la campagne, mais j’ai tapé aussi surtout dans les Batailles 4 et 8, bien que mes 156,126 d’influence n’ont pas grandement changé le court des choses.

Une situation acerbe (a-Serbe)

Journée 1348, deuxième jour de la révolte contre la Serbie. Nous nous sommes réveillés devant une nouvelle réalité : la domination serbe avait commencé à décliner. Lisez cet article de StepUp - On voit bien que la Serbie (et son unité Elite), a été ébranlée par les événements de la journée précédente . Pour nous, dans Terra / Eden, nous sentions que nous avions fais de bon gains. En France, nous avons célébré la libération de Moscou, et ainsi que Bucovine et la Crisana ... Mais l'objectif réel avait été le Nevada. Et nous avons perdu le Nevada, après une longue nuit de combats EPIQUES!
Donc, si le nombre de révoltes d'aujourd'hui ne correspondait pas à toutes celles d’hier, nous avions mis encore beaucoup de pression sur la Serbie, et ils nous en redonné en retour! Les ordres de bataille de la France étaient de se concentrer sur Arizona (bataille 9183) , et nous avons vraiment pensé que nous allions avoir un autre Nevada.




Le va et vient

Dès le départ on savait que l'Arizona serait dure à craquer. Dans les 45 premières minutes les deux côtés avaient tapé fort déjà pour avoir le dessus.

Les Serbes ont laissés la première bataille, mais c'était durement gagnée. Pour la bataille 2 On avait besoin d’une pause et la Serbie a pris la deuxième bataille sans que nous soyons en mesure de marquer plus que quelques centaines de points. Colin Lantrip a eut la BH de la Bataille 2.

Pour les deux prochaines batailles nous avons vu la barre passer d’un coté à l’autre toutes les quelques minutes, avec des GROS dommages des deux côtés. Bataille 3 a été âprement disputée -- aucune équipe n’a voulu laisser l’autre prendre trop d’avance - et un score a avancé progressivement des deux côtés. De notre côté nous avions ariovista qui a frappé fort (800 000 +) mais ce n'était pas suffisant et Aeriala est arrivé parla suite pour taper un gros coup (1.100.000 +) et s'emparer de la médaille de BH. L’équipe serbe étain vraiment bien organisée, avec seulement quelques joueurs frappant plus de 200.000 de dommages. Zligor (480 000 +) a pris la BH serbe, mais sa deuxième place kowalski_afc n’a fait que 280 000+ de dégâts - clairement les Serbes ont été mobilisés pour combattre sur nos superstars. Ainsi en Bataille 4 ils sont revenu de derière pour prendre le devant vers les 70 minutes. StepUp (d’Elite) a pris la BH. Du côté américain, on avait Andrei Lebow (680 000 +) comme BH, avec ariovista qui a fait une autre contribution importante, et Romper qui est arrivé troisième au top 5.



Jusqu’ici tout va bien ... mais attendez l’atterisage!

Oui, en fait je n'ai pas besoin de vous montrer les trois prochaines batailles: des victoires américaines sans gros efforts. Nous nous regardions les uns les autres en se demandant où les Serbes avaient tous disparu! Le combat 5 et 7, nous étions à 70% de domination la plupart du temps ... c’était ridicule. J'ai même demandé à kev2969 si on devrait plutôt changer les ordres et dire aux soldats de frapper en Western Siberia, où une RW venait d’etre lancée. Les Serbes ont tappé un peu sur la Bataille 6, mais rien qui ne fut pas vite repris. Lordbass (346 000), de Blood & Wine pris la BH, avec Josh Frost le suivant de près (316 000).

La Bataille 8, cependant, on s’est fait botter le cul. Les Serbes ont pris le dessus après la 40e minute et on a pas pu reprendre l’avantage. On a fait des gros dommage encore. Beaucoup de soldats français ont participé par ailleurs, et certains on fait le top 5. Frakal (597 000 +) des Kraken qui a pris la BH. ariovista a fait un grand score, tout comme Messager (des Rapaces) et Technicien finit le top 5: mais tout cela n'a pas empêché les Serbes; qui avait clairement plus de troupes en contribuant à la partition. Pas de gros scores de leur coté mais pleins de participants.

Bataille 9 a commencé avec une énorme avance serbe. Puis Colin Lantrip a commencé a frapper et l’avancé serbes a vite passé à notre avantage. On a ensuite gardé la ligne à 50% et pour le reste de la bataille. Colin a pris la BH (840 000 dégâts) suivi d’axe238Man (580 000). Du côté serbe Zigazaga tenait la BH depuis la mi bataille.

Dediou, il se fait tard

Au début de la bataille 10, je suis sur mon troisième Caipirinha et j’ai plus de citrons verts ... Je suis quand meme resté - j'avais plus de fights, plus de chars et trop peu de food. J'avais fait don un autre de chars dans la journée à Glove pour son sa guerre médiatique Eden / Terra vs ONE . Il était probablement tard pour les Serbes, mais il y a toujours des gros gars pour taper à toute heure. et je suis donc resté pour la fin.

Dans la Bataille 10 que nous avons eut Matthieu Bonne qui a frappé. Je suis émerveillé par ce mec; en 12 coups, il a fait environ 300.000 de dommages. Ouai, Il a pris la BH en 12 coups, wow! Matthieu, s'il te plait... tu veux pas m'adopter? Légendaire notre Matthieu Bonne; Premier MinDem si je me rappelle bien de mon eHistoire. Babyboum qui s’en ai suivi et tout.

Je vous faire voir les stats des deux dernières batailles -- des jolies victoires. Peut être un peu plus facile à cause du décalage horaire. (Bien que Matthieu est toujours en Europe).



Ces deux dernières victoires n’ont été faciles UNIQUEMENT parce qu’on a tapé dur pendant toute la journée. Et malgré la vistoire d’Arizona je constate que les Serbes sont TRES forts. Tres organisés. Bravo. GG Serbia!

Je ne sais pas si je suis pret pour recommencer demain, mais j'espère que j’aurai pu vous faire cette journée et cette Campagne qui a été super sympas.

P.S. Je me suis aussi fait un nouvel avatar aujourd’hui. Un peu féminin, mais j’ai une élection présidentielle à gagner le 5 aout alors risquons le tout pour le tout!
