The Belgian Politics - Visual summary of the parties' ideologies
Beaverss Tribute to Raskol
Dear eBelgian citizens,
As you know, each party can choose to position itself on a Left-Right axis & on a Authoritarian-Libertarian axis.
As you can see, Belgians are, for the most part, libertarian & leftists. All the right-wing parties stay small & only two small parties are authoritarian & far-right.
The only question is, does someone really follow these ideologies in the concrete political proposals & State management or is it just words & role play?

voted, difficult to compare to RL ideologies as not everything is possible ingame 🙂
It is difficult to compare. I would be curious to know how you decided how to place the parties on this grid. When I have taken the survey regarding my RL views, I end up closer to the position of ZPP and ATO than to that of RB, but in game, I find the actual positions are not that different, and I think there are some who would argue that HOPE and BB are not really as far left and libertarian as they appear here. I really doubt that BLP is that far in the other extreme, either. It might be more valid to check the positions of individuals and perhaps make a composite score for parties, but even then, ideology may not match practice.
I have to agree with MaryamQ and MCKitkat here 🙂
O7 HOPE The Far-left eBeglium
i want the gray zone side, dictactorship rulezzzz xD
I always find my self at about [0.5 , 0.5] when I do this test.
Can someone tell me to what test all of you refer to?
May i also remind you all that ATO used to be "Left, Authoritarian" instead of "Libertarian". Thank u Beaver ...
The test can be found here, tommot: http://www.politicalcompass.org/analysis2
Thanks, i have just tested it.
"Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -5.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.23"
Fits me! 😃
Ideologies in eRepublik? They don't exist, that's just some dramaqueens writing hollow words
Oh noooooeeeees....seriously, that political compass is 1. a (very) reducing model and 2. not reliable for many reasons, don't base conclusions on it x)
No they are not following their positioning. Wise parties should not talk about their position by the way.
