Leadership for a New Era

Day 883, 22:18 Published in India United Kingdom by Devoid

Let me begin by coming right out and saying it:
I hereby declare my candidacy for the Presidency of India!

As you might know, I didn't begin my playing career in eIndia, but in the eUS. So what led me to move here months ago? I saw great potential, and a fierce warrior spirit. My attention was first grabbed when I saw India declare war on Iran, a PEACE power at the time, which was occupying Jharkhand and perhaps another region or two. I laughed. I thought India didn't have a chance, but I liked the courage, and so I requested to become eUS Ambassador to India. And then I watched, much to my surprise, India didn't get crushed. In fact, India got her land back, against all odds.

As ambassador, I got to know the eIndian people, and I grew to like them. I lurked on IRC and poked around the forums. Eventually I came to realize that, as many friends as I would be leaving behind, I had to make my home in eIndia. I knew this was the place for me. And so in the months I've lived here, I've gotten to know many great people, and have also gotten involved in the government to the point that I have a pretty good idea of how things work.

I am ready to lead.

Qualifications

Numerous roles in the eIndian government
LoL PP
Congressional Representative from Jharkhand
Former eUS Secretary of State (MoFA)

I really have just about done it all. I've at various times held the top foreign affairs job in a major world power, held a number of economic and financial positions, managed various organizations as large as 900 people, and taken part in top-level military planning and international negotiations.

New Leadership for a New Era of Indian Prosperity

India has come a long way under the current leadership group. Guys like David Forde, shail.back, Ashwamedh, Abhi347, and a handful of others have helped this country rise to a player on the world stage. But published articles, as well as comments on IRC, have made it quite clear to any observer that the old guard of Indian leaders is getting weary. And they have a right to be weary, they've worked hard. But it is time for a new class of leadership to emerge, to build on the foundation that they have laid and make India into a truly great nation.

There is much work to be done, to get this government and this nation running more smoothly and effectively. Did you know that our government does not even have a budget? Did you know that a significant portion of our military is privatized? Would you know which government organization could help your noob friend recover his wellness? Did you know that Serbia sent our government 125 GOLD at the time of our war declaration? This is all relevant stuff, and it all needs to be addressed, which I shall do in upcoming articles. I will soon release an article regarding Foreign Affairs, one for Economic & Tax Policy, one for Military Organization and Planning, and one for Internal Affairs. Details will be forthcoming, but please know that in all of these I will put the long-term security and prosperity of India above all else. Stay tuned.

With your help, my fellow Indians, I will establish a strong and efficient government. I will secure our borders against enemies of India, by whatever means necessary. I will set forth an economic policy for the greater long-term prosperity of India. I will take whatever steps necessary for us to finally achieve that baby boom we've been waiting so long for.
