How to deal with the anniversary event !! (NEW PLAYERS ONLY)
PlasticAlley
During the anniversary event, Erepublik has given a +1000 maximum energy bonus and today
a 100% bonus in houses and residence energy regeneration.
Because of these bonuses, prices in weapons, food and houses have already risen and are expected
to rise even more.
Ways to deal with the inflated prices :
WEAPONS
1) Buy cheaper weapons
2) Use free one shot weapons (missiles and bazookas) and damage boosters to
minimize energy consumption during fights
3) Work in your weapon companies (If you have one from the missions for new players)
4) Hit in battles without weapons
5) Ask for donations or join MUs and State programs that give you weapons (ex. "Arm America" USA)
6) Instead of fighting in ground battles, fight in aerial ones for rank points and CO
7) Like Niemand and TheNorm suggested, you could fight in ground battles (more PPs,
therefore faster advance in the Anniversary Challenge and it's rewards) to accumulate
EBs for later use
FOOD
1) Buy cheaper food (Be careful of the energy replenishment of each food quality)
2) Work in your food companies (If you have one from the missions for new players)
3) Ask for donations or join MUs and State programs (ex. "Meals on wheels" USA)
4) Don't use all your energy recovery potential
GOLD - CC
1) Quit your job and get one that pays better since most likely wages will rise
2) Fight to get cc from medals like Mercenary and Freedom Fighter
3) Fight in battles that have CO (You can maximize your CO profit by using rockets, missiles,
bombs and bazookas)
4) If you have gold and need cc to buy things, exchange it now before prices drop even further
5) If you have lots of cc, use them to buy gold. Prices have dropped and are expected to drop lower
during the event but will return to normal after, giving you a nice profit
6) Niemand also suggested to use gold to acquire a hunting lodge (35g) and a Q1 food company (10g)
in order to cover some of your food needs. You could upgrade them to Q2 food factories quite cheap
and that saves energy and work tax.
(Best is to have for 2 Q1 food factories, 1 hunting lodge. If you upgrade them to Q2 food factories
you will need twice as many hunting lodges as compared to Q1 food factories, so that you don't need
to buy FRM for their food production)

Solid advices. o7
Fighting in air battles can be good for your rank there and maybe co money. As now are all ground battles epic, you can get more pp in ground and that can give you lots of energy bars and winter treats. Those you can use later in any battle you like.
It can be good to use some of your gold for a hunting lodge (35 gold) and some food factories (10 gold).
It will make you more independent and at current prices it is a good investment.
Very well said ty
Gold-cc 5) Why buy gold if prices are going to drop?
Because prices of gold will normalize after the event is over and you will have a profit because you bought it cheaper than the usual price in the game
Before the event gold was about 390-400 cc
I have seen it these days as low as 350 cc
When it goes back to those prices after the event
you will make a good +10% profit in your investment
But as i said that is only if you have a lot of cc to spare..
Ex. you get wages in CC from your work, your get your food from the government programs and donations and you fight in battles with COs and maybe get CC from medals.
In this case you don't need to buy weapons and might have accumulated CC that you can use as an investment in gold
NO! - 5) Instead of fighting in ground battles, fight in aerial ones
I agree with Niemand...All the battles are EPIC...EXCEPT AIR battles, and the CO's that have been put out have been very low due to the Stinger's high dmg output,.. So I would recommend IF wanting to take advantage of the event to stay away from air battles. The x2 PP's from the locked EPIC's in ground battles is listed in the update to last through the 'weekend' so I'm assuming them end at reset on Sunday, so take advantage of them as you only have 19 hours left unless Plato extends them or counts Monday as part of the 'weekend' ...ie doubtful,..
But otherwise, some good general help offered! 🙂

n/p 🙂
all good suggestions thank you
would you also suggest buying a q1 house and activating it to work over time each day?
i didn't include it because the event ends tomorrow i think
since it costs about 1300 cc to buy you wouldn't be making any profit from it in one day
if i had written this in the beginning of the week it would definitely be in the options
thing is i didn't expect erep to make all battles epic,
so most people would have never been in this situation
The Q1 house works for a whole week, so when people have the money and log in each day, they should buy a Q1 house. As they work one time extra each day they will have (7*300cc at least) 2100 cc out of 1300 cc investment. Nice profit.
When they don't have the money, they should ask a friend for a loan.
Very well said but this article is supposed to be
about the tournament not a new players guide
for the whole game.
That's why i didn't get into houses, house production
options from MUs or other financial options for their
purchase
Nice advices! I wish I had realized not to use weapons at the beginning of the tournament
Thanks!
