Guide To Guerrilla Fights
HebronGazelle
This is a guide I published over a year ago, shortly before a tournament. It explains how you can deal more damage than you usually would. But what is this simple way of dealing lots of damage? Guerrilla Fights! This guide will explain much of what you need to know about Guerrilla Fights - even though the module isn't very active...
How Does The Guerrilla Fight Work?
Guerrilla Fight is a feature added by Plato so that players can fight without having to click the same "Fight" button every time. Instead, it is a 1-on-1 battle with a real opponent where you have to move, dodge and fight your way to kill the opponent. It is turn-based but you and your opponent take the turn at the same time.
The Guerrilla Fight battlefield
There are two main reasons a player would choose to do Guerrilla Fights instead of the original fighting. Firstly, it means you have to think about what you are doing in order to win, it is not a simple "who can click more wins". Secondly, you will deal more damage through Guerrilla Fights than Q7 weapons based on the energy used. This is explained below.
Damage Dealt
The Winner:
- 100 energy worth of Q7 weapon damage (so if your normal hit is 43,700 damage you will be dealing 437,000 damage)
- 100% of the energy worth of Q7 damage from energy removed from the opposition (so if the opponent lost 50 health and your Q7 hit is 43,700 damage, you will deal 218,500 damage)
The damage the winner deals is equal to both of these added together, so if you kill your opposition that could be 200% of your Q7 damage dealt with just 100 energy.
The Loser:
- 100 energy worth of Q7 weapon damage (so if your normal hit is 43,700 damage you will be dealing 437,000 damage)
- 50% of the energy worth of Q7 damage from energy removed from the opposition (so if the opponent lost 100 health and your Q7 hit is 43,700 damage, you will deal 218,500 damage)
The damage the loser deals is equal to both of these added together, so could be up to 150% of the damage that would be done by using the energy on Q7 weapon fighting.
Bonus:
- If you kill your opponent, you deal an extra 10% damage (meaning the winner can do up to 210% damage)
- Natural Enemy and Damage Booster bonuses are included when calculating damage from Guerrilla Fights.
Simply, the winner can deal up to 210% of the Q7 damage. The loser can deal up to 160%.

Tips for Victory
First I must say that I have gathered these tips from my friends, as well as several articles I have read. I do not normally play in Guerrilla Fights (because I don't usually fight at all) but many of the tips have come from players that I know are experienced in Guerrilla Fights. So here they are:
- Always take a Type-X Sniper and a Grenade with you
- When your opponent is likely to fire from long range; dodge
- When you think the opponent will dodge with a grenade; move
- Fire from long range if you think the opponent will not dodge
- Use as much armour as you have
- If you are looking to minimise costs, only use the GL9 Pistol
- Check you have full armour and loaded weapons before you start
"I have a mini strategy which I would like to share. I keep my grenades to the end of the battle. I never use a grenade in rounds 1-10. Maybe I am not an experienced fighter, but my W/L ratio is pretty good (2.2). Don't ever shoot when the hit chance is under 65%, and don't forget that your hit chance changes if you shot the opponent buy he/she moved at the same round." - xMikiGox
And there you have it. Now get out there and win those guerrilla fights!

All of this information was correct 500 days ago, if it is wrong now let me know.
It was wrong 500 days ago.
I did your mother 500 days ago.
I've won many,... you only 4....
The tips are from this guy:

He's won 1258, quite a lot more than you...
He might be an early "+2" player.
Not sure what that means but he was a friend of mine.
never use pistol, never. Make sure you have ammunition, and use "storm assault rifle" always. Don't move but shoot. That makes a lot of difference. If attacking guys with +2 be imaginative, and use either long range or short range such a S1 short gun.
use only "type x grenade"
use only sniper X rifle.
generally speaking use weapons than new fewer reloads, ( a bit obvious, isn't it?) and dodge when the enemy uses rifles or crossbow
generally speaking use weapons that NEED fewer reloads, ( a bit obvious, isn't it?) and dodge when the enemy uses rifles or crossbow
^ Pretty much this. Also, if you come up with an opponent with a greater damage bonus than you, prepare to lose. And prepare to never have a damage bonus once you start losing.
GF is a nice idea, but still very broken.
Well, the only important here is....
What I have to do when I fail 4 out of 5 shouts with more than 84% acc, and the oter person not with 67% while I use a granade against him

I used to enjoy the Guerrilla fights, but don't think I've fought one in about a year or something. A 1196/478 ratio ain't bad tho.
Good job. o7
Well written article CC.I"ve might try some Guerrilla fight.
people still use this?
Who knows...
I remember the feeds used to be constantly spammed with people's victories. I rarely see any now 😕
Fought 6 times, won once. That was around one year ago, I'm not interested in this part of eRepublik.
