Irule777 for Prime Minister, Domestic Affairs
Domestic affairs is usually one of the most non scrutinized departments, however, it’s also one of the most important areas. Domestic Affairs this month will include Information, Education, Security and Intelligence.
Information
As always, I’ll be promoting an open and well working government. Our Information department will bring you reports from the cabinet, the Prime Minister and anything that we find to be important for the people. Information this month will also put some effort into putting together writers for more editions of an old information program I started in June, the Australian Media. Hopefully we can promote and boost our media in Australia to be more active and entertaining.
Education
Education is always an important department. This month my education minister will work on keeping a good flow of helpful articles out while writing new ones. I’m also tasking my minister of education with the expectation of doing their best to send messages to new players welcoming them and offering assistance. Education is always important to every new player and to the growth of our community. (Note, Centre Link will definitely be looked at and worked on)
Security
Security this month will keep our immigration running as we get regions and ensure no foreigners are allowed into the nation that we can’t handle. Nothing really new here, same old Security department. I have however brought in a very experienced person to run the department, Arfman, who’s held the position several times.
Intelligence
This is more of a trial run department, seemed like an interesting new program to attempt. My intelligence minister this month will be tasked with watching government newspapers across the world and bringing anything important to the attention of the Prime Minister. While foreign affairs does do this with important articles, you never know what else is being published out there so we’ll keep a close eye out. The department name sounds more scary than it actually is, congrats

the unfortunate fact about intelligence agencies is that the more well known they are, the less effective they - unless the nation has a force that can act as a large deterrent. Personally, id rather just prove your awareness of global politics, and prove its useful
It's not secret. The idea is my Minister for it will just assist me in keeping an eye on international stuff.
well.... there is the ASIS (eyeshifts) but only CP's and former CP's really know about it. The CP elects his own ASIS director charged with keeping tabs on things. So while I know it is there, I have no idea who is in it anymore nor if it is actually active.

Nice article, however it is a bit vague on the specifics of your plans.
Being specific with Domestic Affairs tends to be a bit more difficult. I've already been coordinating with my minister's however to figure out the best ways to achieve all this.
I'd have to disagree. Coming into campaigns I have seen many candidates outline Educational, Information reform etc... and how they will approach and complete them.
Let's summarise what you said.
Most important departments often overlooked, so you will:
1. will create a more exciting and active media.
2. release new education articles and an try to contact new players.
3. have the same security policy and people because you are presumably happy with the way things are
4. Intelligence re-branded as a media watchdog instead of actually working with other intelligence agencies
Ho-hum. This article is at best fluffy and at worst an admission that the bar is too high on the domestic front so you will lower the standards instead of rise to the challenge.

For what it's worth irule you tried hard to sum up the deadliest component of a campaign quite well. There's varying outlooks depending on where eAussies have come from as well if eAus is not their first eRep country. For e.g. on finance this lands at Congress' door by and large and in some countries the CP feels privileged just to get to edit it a bit.
One of the most plaguing issues for eAus governance as a whole, is that there's still a bit of mish mash. Security is one of them. IMPO I was mixed about the idea of leaving it in the hands of Congress or continuing it as a joint role. That alone highlights the difficulty in campaigning about a domestic policy where it is equally a foreign policy of sorts. When I was MoFA I was asked now and again about Intel. reports that were needed for CS processing because naturally the DoFA teams had those resources and contacts readily available.
