Lahore, Pakistan: Season Two of Pakistan Premier League will be kicking off today at 10 A.M. (Pakistan Time). The opening match of season 2 will be played between Lahore Knights and Kohat Stallions. The games are going to offer a diversion from current ongoing political tensions that exist with Indians. Pakistanis can sit together and watch some good quality cricket with their family members, Lana or the new residential chick.
Season One of Pakistan Premier League was cancelled in middle due to Indian attack on Pakistan. It was decided in ePakistan Cricket Board meeting last week to organize season two.
Participating Teams:
1. Lahore Knights (Manager: Ahsan Shahbaz)
2. Kohat Stallions (Manager: Badar Fateh)
3.Pannon Pumaz (Manager: Agabey)
4. Joes11 (Manager: JonathanJoestar)
5. Shikarpur Hunter (Manager: Tahir Awan)
Tournament will be played following the Round Robin Format. Top Four of the Five teams will qualify for the Knockout stage. Knockout stage will have Two Semi Finals and a Final to determine the winner. Matches will be Telecasted live on #eCricket on IRC. You can tune in to read live action.
