RareLit5: Sneak Peak!

Hello all! First I just wanted to say that the 5th edition of the Rareonce Literary Contest is almost halfway to it's deadline. In this contest you can submit either a poem, a short story, a screenplay, and/or an eRepublik Article for a chance to win up to 200 Q7 weapons! If you'd like to take part, please check out my PREVIOUS ARTICLE. I am happy to announce that there's already at least 1 submission to each category so no matter which category you choose to enter, you're guaranteed a chance to win!

Since this contest started only having a Poetry category, I thought I'd give you guys a sneak peak to one of the Poems that have been submitted. If you think you can do better, come on down and ENTER YOUR OWN WRITING! If you like to read, then be sure to keep your eyes out for when the voting starts! Voting begins on Monday, 6/15/2015.

Spring days mark beauty
Nature’s cycle reborn
Always a sight to behold
The lovely rose and it’s thorn

Summer’s heat
Harsh and extreme
How bittersweet
It to be what children dream

Autumn leaves fall
They color the street
Their dying trees stand tall
While they break at my feet

With winter’s frost
I retreat to my den
Rest with a comfort so soft
And the cycle begins again.
