Population Statistics 23rd June. A return of frequent stats!
Kevy Kev Kev Junior shabado
Hello eRepublik. As promised I have attempted to return to activity and publish an article every two weeks. This is the first time in over a year that I have released two articles in quick succession so expect less dramatic figures this time around. With that being said the shifts seen this week are still fairly interesting.
I didn’t get any requests last time for articles. I’m thinking about comparing the population of the major alliances sometime soon and how they have changed overtime. If people are interested please tell me in the comments below!
For new readers of my article
I attempt to gather latest figures on the population. Every time I make an article I compare the last set of data with the newest set and identify the best and worst performers.
If someone wants to use the images or just translate this whole article then you have my permission…however please put a link to track back to this original article.
Votes and Comments are always welcome. Subscribe if you’re new here! If you want to be really awesome you should shout this article out. It helps the paper grow and it indicates interest in the series. (Which motivates me to put the effort in to publish them every now and then
😛)
If you vote AND comment you get entered into a prize draw (details below)

These graphs show the data in the table above in a format easier for the eyes.
The winner from the last two weeks is Ukraine who managed to move up 5 spots in the rankings to sit just outside the top 10. This has been achieved with a population growth of 848 which is the highest from all countries in this time span giving them a growth of 16.56%! They have even overtaken the old giants such as Romania and Hungary. It looks like we have another potential large country in the eastern European area. Congratulations this time Ukraine!
Notable mentions for this edition are Bolivia and Uruguay; who both showed strong growth in recent weeks and were both very close to claiming the winner title.
The loser this week is Italy and although they only dropped 3 places to 25th they had the biggest drop in population by a massive 926 this week. This figure gave Italy a contraction of 24% which is huge for a country considered to be medium ranked in eRepublik. With gains from Bolivia and Uruguay recently it might be likely that they could overtake Italy fairly soon as well. Hopefully this isn't the case and I wish Italy the best in stabilising their population!
Notable mentions for this edition are the Netherlands and Mexico. The Netherlands, who were the winners last time I wrote an article have managed to slip up and lose 300 citizens which is fairly huge for a country of its size whereas Mexico have lost over 600 citizens in what is the highest loss in the top 10 this week.
- No Changes in the top 10 this time.
- The top 3 all gained citizens which is fairly rare considering one of these countries is usually in decline.
- Biggest movers were Saudi Arabia (+6) and Netherlands (-8 ).
- Denmark regains the title of smallest country after a break last edition.
- Japan and South Korea were the most stable countries this time as they manage to both gain 2 citizens. It is better than losing citizens overall I guess!
- eRepublik lost 1209 citizens in the last two weeks giving it a contraction of 0.55%! This is a lot better than it was from my last edition but still concerning in the long term.
Just some quick statistics on the top 5 countries in terms of population and growth changes.
Congrats to Vladimir Czenishkov for winning the last contest. Please contact me for your prize. I used a random number generator to get the result.

Population just seems to go up/down to me but the maps really speak for themselves. I just love how much change 1 month can bring - it's crazy to think people are actually managing to do all of this in their spare time xD
Great article as always \o/
