Join the new world

Hello. Welcome to another edition of eWorld Population Stats! This week wasn't as interesting as the last few weeks but I have made some improvements to this article. These improvements come from feedback I have received from the comments or private messages. If you have any more ideas on how I can improve this article further please contact me via PM. A summary of changes is listed below.

- Added an "Active Citizens" Table
- Changed Quick Stats - Made each area show top 5
- Added Active Citizens Percentage + Active Citizens amount to Quick Stats
- More Analysis between Active Citizens will follow next week once I can compare between two weeks.

For new readers of my article

I have used this website to get accurate stats. The population shown below are from the server reset time on Sunday each week. I will be posting a new article every Sunday with updated stats and identifying a best performer and worst performer.

Winner



The Winner this week is South Africa. South Africa have been mentioned in this article a few times before being on both sides as Winner and Loser but this week they can be once again regarded the winner. It has been explained before they were Politically taken over by a group from 7 Chan. After a few months of Brazil and Argentina holding their regions of high importance (High Diamonds) they were finally able to regain all of their regions with Limpopo being liberated. South Africa gained 1250 Citizens this week moving up 12 places to be 26th. This is a growth rate of 84.52%. This may look like a good figure but it is unsure on how many of these citizens are Bots + dead accounts.

Loser

The loser this week is unfortunately Bulgaria. As many of you will know Bulgaria decided to attack Romania. This was not an order from Phoenix HQ; the president decided to attack by himself. This decision did in fact block Romania from attacking Hungary for 24 hours but it eventually Romania managed to gain the initiative and attack Bulgaria with its' many activated MPPs. This lead to Bulgaria signing a MPP with North Korea so that Serbia could get a free war with Bulgaria. Once 24 hours had passed Bulgaria attacked Serbia ultimately removing the shared MPPs and Serbia then attacked every region and Bulgaria retreated. This was a very costly process but this means that Bulgaria no longer have an open war with Romania and are now protected from Eden once again. Bulgaria at server reset had one region left (This was later conquered and now they have another one back) this left them with 185 Citizens and down 44 places to 60th on the list. This is a contraction of 97.81%. This is only for a short time. As I write this article further regions of Bulgaria are being returned via Resistance War. Good Luck to Bulgaria for next week and I hope you get back up to 8000+ citizens. 🙂

As you can see from this graph the top 20 countries are shown. Using this graph you can clearly identify where the biggest changes are. Significant blips are explained briefly below:
- Poland - Dead babies from baby boom
- Serbia - Mini baby boom; also gaining citizens from Bulgarian regions
- Brazil - Continued Baby Boom
- Romania - Gained region from Bulgaria
- Hungary - Gained back some regions from Croatia
- Argentina - Lost Limpopo

Active Citizens
I have added this section because of a request via PM. This section is being put here on a trial basis as it is very difficult to define and track "Active Citizens". Using a census website I was able to find the amount of citizens that are above 40 wellness and are currently employed.



- in my first table, there is a gap of 16,000 citizens between 1st and 5th. However, the gap is only 4,000 in the active citizens table. That is a lot of dead citizens.

- Spain have the strongest active citizen percentage in the top 10 at 50%. This is a very impressive figure and probably explains why they are constantly in the top 5.

- From this data it suggests that Serbia/Spain could take over soon as number 1. 🙂

- India have the lowest active citizens percentage at 25%

- Bulgaria have a incredible 585% active citizen count. Of course anything over 100% is impossible and this figure is incorrect because the website I used is a few days out of date. Apologies for this. 😛

Other Notes

- Congrats to Serbia who gained over 5000 citizens this week! (This is partly due to Bulgaria, but congrats anyway) Congrats also go out to Romania, Brazil, Hungary and South Africa who gained 1000 extra citizens.

- Bulgaria, Argentina and Poland lost over 1000 citizens this week. 🙁

- Serbia regained 2nd place overtaking Brazil this week.

- Overall this week the new world lost 3676 Citizens with a contraction of - 0.92%
