New attack rules starting Day 1113
Dear citizens,
Considering the problems we’ve experienced in the past few weeks and based on your feedback, including a chat with the former Country Presidents, we’ve been working on improving the attack rules. Our main focus was simplifying them and trying to give every citizen one relevant battle to fight in. As a result, bellow you can find the new attack rules, which will become active starting tomorrow, Day 1113 of the New World, 02:00 eRepublik time.
First of all, we’ve brought back the initiative system from V1: when a new war is being started, the initiator of the war will hold initiative, which means he can decide which enemy region to attack. While holding initiative, he cannot be attacked by the opposing country in this war. He will keep the initiative as long as he keeps winning the battles and thus conquers enemy regions.
In the moment he will lose his first battle, the initiative will change, now the enemy will be able to counter attack.
But the initiative cannot be held forever: presidents will have 24 hours to decide which region to attack. Once they do, the battle will be started immediately, else, at the end of the 24 hours time, a battle will be automatically started in one of the attackable regions. Also, there will be just one battle at a time, so no other regions can be attacked while a battle is still in progress. But battles will be free of charge, no Gold will be necessary to attack regions anymore.
More insights on the rules we kept and those we didn’t:
Battle Queues will continue to exist. Basically, once a side will decide to attack a region that is already a battlefield in another war, the attack will be queued until the previous battles on that region end. If region is being conquered in one of the previous battles, the queue will be dissolved. If your attack was in the dissolved queue, another attackable region will automatically become a battle in your war. Also Resistance battles can be queued; the good news is that, if the queue gets dissolved before the Resistance Battle takes place, the Gold spent on starting it will be returned to the initiator.
Attacking regions will no longer depend on what happens in the other wars your country is involved into. So, you will be able to initiate attacks even if your border regions will be under attack in other wars.
If, at some point, the two countries involved in a war will no longer share common borders, the war between those two will automatically be closed.
While discussing with the former Country Presidents, we understood that you want more strategy in wars, and among your suggestions we found some interesting ideas that we are currently working on putting in practice, so we will be updating you soon about some more improvements.

4. ko zgubis bitko zacne napadana drzava napadat nazaj
5. drzava ki napda lahko napade samo eno dezelo na enkrat (ena po ena)....

In again, kar smo jim rekli CP-ji ne velja nič. Sploh ne vem zakaj so imeli meeting z nami če bilo kaj smo rekli so očitno ignorirali.

Najbolj bedna se mi zdi fora, da ko zmagaš bitko in si na vrsti ti za napad ter če ne napadeš po 24 urah se avtomatsko igra za tebe odloči katero regijo se bo napadlo ... Kaj pa če ti ravno to pokvari kakšno taktiko katero naj bi ta pravila vzpodbujala? In teoretična okupacija ZDA bi traja 50 bitk al kaj?
tisto z avtomatskim napadom je bedarija, ker to pomeni bitke v neskončnost, dokler se ne podpiše mir ali ena država zmaga.
Neumnost skratka..
Samo da bo čimveč bitk in bo šlo čimveč golda v bitkah(predvsem od tistih ki gold kupujejo).
