Greetings,
I'm sure all Military Unit commanders who issue daily supplies like myself, get very bored of clicking each members profile, and donating the selected weapons/food, and there is nothing worse than when seeing the list at the end of the day when you are tired, than donating the wrong amount by mistake.
My face when it happens
I have come up with an idea, which has probably been thought of hundreds of times, but I have never read it anywhere. Plato will probably take no notice of what is said here, but if he does take on board what I say I demand 100000 gold in payment for the idea.
The idea
The idea is simple, the MU page needs an interface which allows the commander to upgrade a private MU storage facility, where both the commander and players (if they want to) can donate weapons and food. (The commander obviously supplying the bulk of this.)
There should then be an option for the commander to set the supply for the day and it be down to the player to click on the MU page and press *collect daily supply* (or something of the sort).
This would save a lot of trouble for the unit commanders in clicking on each profile individually and donating.
The commanders option should be something along the lines of:
Set daily supply: *drop down box for what weapons* Drop down box for amount of weapons each soldier gets*
Also voting comments in the MU feed should have been introduced ages ago.

Even if they had a little "pm" and "donate" icon beside the person's name as it appears on the MU member list, that would be an improvement.
True, but still impractical if there is say, 20-30 people to hand out supplies to. Would make my life a lot easier at least ha
I'd settle for removing the 4-6 seconds I am forced to wait between each donation, else the donation doesn't go through. Is this a security feature? Lag? A simulated time of how long it takes the tanks to drive to that players house?
Good common sense idea Pat. And for that reason they will never do it.

I fear that cat may be trying to take over the world and it may happen prior to Plato listening.
There was talk of automatic supplies at the last eRep conference. i.e. you set an amount and a player clicks a button to receive them.
It'd take away the only job I have in eRep but that could work nicely. No mistakes, only the players who want them get them.

Yes. Plato should work on making our eLives easier and the game a bit more enjoyable than before.
dont forget being able to set a requirement for the supplies... like the DO.. Kill X people to unlock supplies
or complete DO to unlock supplies

Don't you get daily supplies in your MU? I give out 10 q7 480 health per day, sometimes Q6 if I get a low stock of 7's
I was in canedia army..... but i donot know but for some reasion they kicked me out of it..... what do i do now?
You should join a Military Unit, most of them provide supplies
Great idea, One thing to add to that might be the ability to donate/transfer WRM to the MU as that currently seems to be an issue when producing large amounts of Q7's
I agree that WRM should definitely be tradeable at the very least.

Simple & Good idea
The latest update on the Alliance seems show that admins try to integrate the "outside game" (based on forums, wiki, IRC, etc.) within eRep. What you propose would be an intelligent next step.
