Wednesday February 29th in the wee hours of the morning Crimson party members went to the polls to select the candidate that it would like to see as our next Country President.

The winner is…..





Only candidates that received votes are included in the graph but all in game candidates were included in the vote. Numbers are percentages.

Our Standard Operating Procedure for selecting a CP Candidate had a minor overhaul this time around and while it may need some tweaking the major concern is voter turn out. While there was a slight improvement to 28 voters from 23 last month, it is still far from being the “voice of the party”. Our SOP loosely modeled after the late MOO party as it stands is…

1. Any CP candidate that wishes to gain the support of TCO is encouraged to register and request masking on our forum

2. Once masked, a CP candidate may place their platform(s) in the CP Candidate forum located in the Party Embassies & CP Candidates category and feel free to update as needed and answer any questions TCO members may have

3. TCO will run a 48 hour poll starting as close as possible to 00:01 am on the last day of the month preceding the election so that the candidate can be placed on the 2nd. To clarify and for example, the Feb 5 election, the poll will start as early in the day as possible on Jan 31. The poll will include all in-game CP candidates and an option of "None of the Above"

4. Once the poll is over the PP will place the CP candidate, if one is successful, that received the most of TCO votes.

All Candidates are now included in the vote regardless if they seek our endorsement and an option of “none of the above” is included if the majority of voters feel that none of the candidates are worthy of our nod.
