[eRep] What are the standards eHere?
Rabbit of Caerbannog
Dear eWorld,
I have to ask you something after being shocked how one comment from player A (which was not insulting imho and I didn't see anything bad in it) was removed in FEW SECONDS from my shout.. and another one, from a player B, where I was personally insulted more than 3h ago, and reported it for vulgarity and insults, is still there..
How often happens to you that you are being insulted or vulgarity is used, on your eFriends wall, on Party or MU wall, even eCountry wall?
How often do you report those kinds of comments or shouts?
And how many of them are removed after report?
How long it takes usually?
When you use this kind of communication towards female gender here in the game, do you ever think who is behind that nickname?
Would you like the words that you used are something that some of your dear female persons in RL read or hears? (so your mother, daughter, wife, girlfriend, sister..)
Do you think those ladies in your lives would also like to know that you are using this kind of communication? Or maybe for you internet is a way to express your other self, and you are not talking like this in RL?
Which standards and priorities you have when you take a ticket / report?
Insults and vulgarity are how big of the priority exactly?
And which drop-down options have bigger priority when we report some comment or shout or article?
Is a genuine question, as next time I will use some other category, which has a bigger priority to be addressed to.. in a few seconds or minutes, and not hours or days.. or NEVER..
UPDATE: Some answers can be read in this shout..
I wanted to write today about Pink T-shirt day.. But then this happened.. and actually is related in some way..
So for all who desire to know more about the PINK T-shirt day, click it
Thank you all for your comments in advance..
Yours truly,
Trying to find some logic eHere and very surprised by some actions or no-actions at all,

Sorry about that
In eArmenia I have never been insulted in anyway by any player.
Higher the role/position/title...more insults a girl will get.
Rarely I've seen gender-related bullying in our community. Some players we knew were women, were and still are considered from some of the respectful players of eGreece. Similar thing goes for non-Greek women that had interaction with our community.
Although similar to what Anksesenamen Ra said, the higher the role a female has in the game, it's more possibly to get insults. I don't know if when this happens if it's gender-related, but still insults.
1. Very very very very rare.
2. When happened ofc i reported.
3/4. Last time was Mattrim eating beans about me and Tasha, shouts disappeared very fast and he got temp ban i think 😃
Imma girl in eIreland and have never been vulgarly insulted by anyone. I don't report any posts I see that I think are vulgar or offensive. I find it sort of childish to report things like that in a game, kind of like tattle telling on my little brother. I'm rl American if that makes any diffrence in my opinions. I just kind of live and let live.
Thank you for your experience and insight 😉
You most probably don't have some eFriends which some other girls or I have then 😃
I have one more Q for you:
Would you think and do the same if someone threatens directly to you or your family members OR writes regular insulting and vulgar comments and shouts, and gets punished very rarely for those?
And regarding 'telling' on someone, in my case, this was 1st time I reported a comment that was insulting directly towards me. But I have been asked several times to do it for some other comment or post that was insulting towards someone else..
So far I would remove that person who insulted someone from my eFriends list - and in some way, turn my head the other way.. But yesterday I thought more about those who bully, and those who are getting served on a weekly basis with something like this (as I planned to write about Pink T-Shirt day, so that made me think more about this..).
If it was in rl and they knew where I live and could actually cause me or my family bodily harm I would report it. But this is a role playing game and doesn't reflect much of rl to me so I would just ignore the insults and remove the person from my elife.
Everyone chooses how much of their RL they will share in this game. I'm pretty sure no one shared their RL address lol
@PoA, ofc I didn't share my RL address in-game, but I had few eRep meetings with players held in my place, as well as quite few of them as guests in my home. So my address is in some way familiar to some players here..
And there was a case of serious threats to one of eCro players which held information about his RL address (and he never shared it with anyone as he told me, so it was found by using illegal activities non eRep related, but threats sent over eRep PM = so this was the channel of 'delivery' in that case)
If serial killers live here then maybe its time to stop. Found out his RL address elsewhere? Non erep related? How does this happen and why him? Why not on me or other 99% of the player pool? Still feels like his choice. He chose to come here in the first place, so nobody elses fault.

P.S. Restore the justice in this eWorld...without justice all is just lies like in the nazi world
Comparing eRepublik with Nazi-Germany is incredible stupid....
I dont understand guys who act like that in a game/internet, therefore it doesnt make sence to answer the questions 🙂
Do not worry, boys love the girls anyway in the end, but some times we do need to smack them to get them more focused! 🙂
1. Not always sure about who is which gender, but I tend to be reasonbly polite to anyone.
And for the ones I do know that are girls-women I only use my tipical timid-spam-humor-sarcasm-irony-furry stuff,
and if something I wrote could be interpreted differenty know this I meant the other thing that is not mean or evil, or attack on dignity, (even it is a little naughty).
it is (all) a flert, a common type male-female random muttering communication
🙂
2. I have nothing to be ashamed, or fear of my spoken-written words...
but I don't think my mom should read/hear some or any of that stuff. 😃
3a. the ones who know me, they should/would/will know, and the context
3b. nothing to say, there is a little difference of me here and RL, I am who/what I am,
maybe I have more courage to write here what I think and feel
and do
-yes, I am an introvert
😃
I am maybe not the best example. All I can do is relate my thoughts.
I really doubt anyone can think up some way to insult me. Sometimes I may be frustrated by an idiot who refuses to acknowledge my response but ultimately that is their problem.
Sometimes my words may be vulgar in response to vulgarity. It is never my intention to hurt onlookers. Occasionally I must back up, apologize, and ask forgiveness. I don't feel bad telling a jerk off but never intentionally harm the innocent.
Gal here
1. To me, never (or I dont remember). But one of my friend was and often insulted regarding her physical appearance. I agree that the higher position, the higher chance of insult. Also, the more outspoken a girl, the higher chance too.
2. Never, because it's in our language and usually subtle, so quite pessimistic Plato will understand.
"When you use this kind of communication towards female gender here in the game"
You can't tell for sure whether the account owner is mare or female. There are no visible signs, apart from what stated in a profile description.
Me? I hate everyone equally. jk.
So tell me, Lady Rabbit. What's your recipe against bullying? Or is that a topic for your next article?
[removed]
The recipe against online violence is simple! Don’t read what you don’t want to see or hear and avoid communication with people who are idiots, trolls and others if you can’t stand or deal with them! A slightly bigger problem in many cases can be bullying in RL, so you have to tell someone about it and don’t hide those problems from and for yourself! I’m sure you’ll find someone to help you and someone who can deal with them in one way or another 😉 The third and probably the worst violence is from politicians and some other biggest bands or criminals who terrorizing people! Now how to defend against them is a little more complicated and this can need some more time to solve some things and problems, but the truth is still important! Only the truth can destroy them! So never be afraid to tell the truth everywhere and anytime! Only the truth and if you can be brave enough to tell your problems out, can be solution for any problem!
