Monday Minutemen: August 9 Call to Arms

Day 1,358, 05:00 Published in USA USA by George Armstrong Custer
UPDATE 1300 HOURS
I've closed the Supply Request Form for a while.
I've served 70 Minutemen in under seven hours, giving away an estimated 800 tanks.
I have important RL going on this afternoon. Relief Quartermasters may pick up the duty today, and they'll turn the Form back on for as long as their supply holds out.

Monday Minutemen Call to Arms

Will You Answer the Call?

Dateline: Tuesday August 9, 2011 (Day 1,35😎
Location: On the Battlefield
Reporter: George Armstrong "Old Man" Custer

Monday Minutemen August 9 Battle Orders

A look at the eRep Map will show that there are several hotspots of interest, some in the USA and more across Europe and Down Under.

We may insert ourselves into any of them, at the direction of our International War Advisers.

The situation is fluid-- that is, priorities change all the time, and we must be ready and able to move at a moment's notice anywhere in the world to lay down battlefield damage.

Monday Minutemen will fill out the Supply Request Form and state where they are currently located. If possible, a battle will be assigned that will not require travel-- but don't count on it, you must be prepared and able to cover your own travel expenses to fight anywhere you may be assigned.
Volunteer fighters will receive a game mail from their Quartermaster, instructing them where they are to fight using our weapons.

Each volunteer fighter will receive ten Q5 weapons.
Some stronger fighters may be given more, whether outright or as a second serving.

Also be in IRC room #SVV to communicate with your Quartermaster.

I'll be manning the spreadsheet and #SVV till mid-day, then I'm out till late at night. If there was ever a time when RL > Game, this is it.
Volunteer Quartermasters will cover the interim time. They have lives, too, and won't be sitting on this all silly day, but will check the spreadsheet and the room from time to time.
Patience is a virtue, the reward is free weapons-- impatience and arrogance will get you nothing.

This action is privately funded and coordinated.
Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
