Ok.
Why are we fighting Mexico?
Personally I can't fight because my wellness keeps deteriorating from working and I can't get enough wellness to fight. Or money to buy weapons...
Anyway, why is this war happening?
If you read in wikipedia, Mexico has in the past tried to get countries to agree with them by not military might or impressivness or diplomacy with subtle hints of being awesomer than a country.
Moral reasons are the key. That's real nice of Mexico to do things like that and not be a big threatening power.
So I like Mexico. Maybe there are lots of immigrants, but haven't we taken over enough of Mexico it looks like? Why not let it be happy with its rich culture and just everyone get along.
Personally, in games, I like attacking and conquering. Still, I would think that this being supposed to be realistic nations and such, that there would be a President or something that would be happy with peace. The only reason America is powerful today is because it took advantage of help from other people and now it's so huge. And now America is a greedy, corporatocracy. Or getting there.
Mind you, can countries have different governments in this game? I'd be interested in moving to a socialist country.
Anyway, this attacking stuff is randomly random. It's as random as me (who is once again tired and is making random articles).
Perhaps I should propose a bill to Congress. And you guys should support me. This article is probably one of the not trifling articles you will see.

Because there are turns that can last days, it's still 20 minutes until I actually do anyhing.

Any new readers will probably think I am the weirdest newspaper writer ever.
And speaking of newspaper writers, we were talking in I-Lass (Integrated Language Arts and Social Studies) about the Industrial Revolution and the muckwriters, those journalists who did investigative stuff, espescially in working conditions. I should do that too perhaps. Of course nothing ever happens here that I can look up, so I'd have to make up a scandalous story or conspiracy. Maybe I can even go all Senator McCarthy on everyone and accuse a lot of congressmen of being communists.
Any ideas? I need some.

Honestly there are a number of reasons floating around. To make our military stronger, to expand our borders, and to secure our southern border from a PEACE invasion.
I sent you a couple of Q2 gifts, not quite enough to get you to 40 because my org is slightly short on cash, but if you want 40 wellness, just toss me the USD to gift you up to it and I will.
I would suggest doing a couple of things, such as getting a house, a lower quality job, eating better food, and investing in a gifting partner, as your wellness should never dip below 90.
Also, when possible; Move to Florida at least to fight, and take advantage of the Q5 hospital.
What he said. And when you're especially strapped, cut back on training. You'll get the super soldier medal slower, but your wellness is more important.
we fight mexico because we are going to lose the game if we don't get territory. we don't want to be the little kid on the block when either romania or indonesia decides to turn their imperial gaze on our oil.

It really isn't about Mexico. Mexico has an MPP with Hungary, a nation attacking our ally. This invasion sends a clear message, don't ally with PEACE, they can not protect you. Also, it possibly diverts Hungarian forces.
Everything should be looked at with the big picture in mind. Right now the big picture is ATLANTIS vs. PEACE. This should go a long ways in helping ATLANTIS, even if it is just symbolic. Romania may be a threat to us, but Indonesia is more so. If Romania loses at Indonesia's gain, it is our lost and the lost of the free nations that PEACE wants to conquer.
@miles: Lower quality job does not mean lower pay. I'm slightly drunk, so I'm not qualified to give advice right now, but ask these other guys.

Hungary just tried (tries and will try) to take back their own original territories from Romania.4 of our 6 original regions is invaded by the imperialistic Romania. And Uncle Sam says that you want to send us a message...In fact you are trying to take a revenge on Hungary through poor Mexico, because Hungary tried to liberate its own regions...Well, you are so fair...
