Is really BCP more democratic than eBelgium?

In several articles/posts, Wim Vercauteren has been complaining about the lack of democracy in congress and government and asks people to vote for BCP. For instance:

Vote BCP... !!
Even beter join the BCP and work towards a democrat 100% transparant future.
Just as I refuse to be a slave, I refuse to be a master, that is what real democracy is!

The grass is always greener in the neighbour’s garden. But is the BCP really a democratic party as claimed by Wim?

Let’s give a look at their Presidential Candidate (who is also the Party President).

Ombrenoire, is a man who have been twice elected in congress (Septembre 2011 and January 2012). He also joined the Belgian national forum in April 2011 and wrote 56 posts during the year.

The majority of those posts are in a single part of the forum, called Citizen Packs. For the people who are not familiar, it is a governmental program that allows ANY belgian citizen to request food and weapons from the government.

Citizen Packs

He is totally in his right, but it seems strange for me that the leader of the BCP is only active on a political point of view to request the governmental help.

Moreover, if we look at his activity, it is almost zero. The fact is that the BCP party president has been elected randomly without any campaign or no articles published with his opinions. It is the same for most political parties, but BCP iseven doing worse than the other top 5 parties, being the only one having a 2 clicker player at his head.

Moreover, nobody knows what is the program from Ombrenoire as presidential candidate and there is a very good reason for that: he has none! There is no transparancy at all!!! (actually he has no newspaper) He is only running to obtain the medal and is not planning to be active on a political scale in eBelgium. We cannot blame him for that and it is his right to do so.

However, if he is elected, he will not act as eBelgian president and we will have to force his impeachment if we want to have a functional government.

Wim claims that he refuses to be a slave or a master. This is not communism, this is anarchy. The party name is not really well chosen and only confusing.

And before leaving, a last remark: Who is managing the BCP forum? Is that their elected leader or some self proclaimed leader without any election? That’s just a question, no need to answer.

In the next article, I will discuss about Communism in eRepublik.

Jofroi,
Vice President of eBelgium
