GOOD MUSIC IS TIMELESS?

Day 1,847, 13:15 Published in Ireland Ireland by Releasethe Krakken

Well kinda bored and listening to some tracks. Well here is a selection. I usually do these selections to share music I like with other people and as well to keep a kinda video playlist for myself. The first is of course the doors with maggie mcgill one of my favorite pieces of music. this video is kinda subdued, the other track I got is more grunty.
if I can remember it was john densmore on bass, ray manzarek on hammond organ, robby kriegler on drums and jim morrison on vocals. saw a joke about how we now with wikipedia/google everybody know everything so gonna leave the facts to my memory even if erroneous.

If I can remember correctly the unique sound was created by recording a paino recording backwards. Off topic:We were always supposed to listen for backwards tracks that would corrupt our little minds.

In this song we can hear the signature Hammond organ one of the most used instruments of the sixties.

here he discusses the future of music.

I used to have a massive vinyl collection in that time we called it LP's the shortened form for Long Play. CDs was marketed as errorless "what a bunch of bull crap" Well anyway as far I can remember LP's had a richer sound CD's is kinda flat sounding but scratches was the big bugbear i remember cleaning a LP and then putting it between 2 glass plates and heating it in the oven for a few seconds to get rid of the scratches. Cant remember if it was quite successful
Born In the Usa by Bruce Springsteen is one of the best albums off all times. Its hard to find a track that is not extremely listenable.

The only very interesting fact I can remember from some kind of doccie I saw on Bruce is that he actually was around roundabout the "hippie "era. A dispute with his record company however saw him travelling for a few years and then of course hitting hard round near the eighties.

The one album that I always wanted to buy when I was young was U2's Joshua Tree. Also an album with no bad songs on it.

As far as my memory go U2 is an Irish band and their all devout christians except the larry guy.

Live's album Throwing Copper - I owned this album for a couple of years but lend it to a friend and just never asked it back.

And since we are in Ireland I will include the cranberries who as far as I can remember is also Irish.

This is about the armed conflicts. There is parts in Ripley Bogle that also cover this I can remember a good film "Sons of fathers". its kinda sad for me that most smaller countries dont maintain their identities with the influx of players from massive countries. its easy to understand why in eCroatia you would have say 1 in 500o chance to become CP here you have 1 in 300 hence the influx and outflux of a countries character. i recently read a few articles of my own home countries supposed citizens. bunch of posers who know nothing about our history just p* me off. so not going there ever.

And we can rock out with System Of A Down cover of the Metro which orginally was a one hit pop song for some obscure band.
