Free Elections

Day 1,254, 11:08 Published in India India by Lord Bernin

Dear Readers,

I intended to publish this article just after the Congress elections but could not do so because I was quite busy yesterday. I wish to draw everyone's attention towards an important topic, ie. Free Election.

In this election, I had adopted a policy of free election (in my opinion for the first time in eIndia) just because there was no threat from unapproved, TO candidates. I had hoped that India United will do the same and allow free elections for the progress of eIndia. I am highly disappointed by the strategy adopted by my dear friends at IU.

I strongly condemn IU's unreasonable policy to gain maximum number of congress seats and compromising with the future of eIndia. As I have already discussed a lot on this issue with Shaz, I sense that people want things to change. It was fine to issue orders for voting when it was necessary to prevent a take over. But WHY NOW???

I hope that things will change for a better eFuture. I will again re-iterate my stand on this topic and I firmly believe that this attitude for "insignificant" gains will lead to political deterioration of eIndia.

I take responsibility for the poor performance of Yuuva in these elections. I took this step not for better of Yuuva but for the better of eIndia. It hurts me to see such a negative consequence of it.
