ERX - The Good The Bad and The Ugly

ERX - The greatest thing that can happen to eRepublik financing module
^smif
Well it didn't happened yet, because there wasn't advertised yet, the proper way, by my book.
Ok ths being said let's analize the grounds on ERX is build upon
From the launching article of Big Brother we find out that ERX is a site operated by the US Government and T'jelle Bank.
As I understood from chatting with ERX officials, the profits go 50/50 to the US Government and T'jelle Bank.
Let's see the benefits that are named in the article:
Benefits to Organizations
• raise immediate capital to expand or upgrade by selling shares.
• transfer shares to existing shareholders.
• dramatically increase the networth of your company.
• free to use/register.
Benefits to Citizens
• invest into companies, and watch your money grow.
• receive dividends paid out in gold.
• speculate right, and become super rich.
• free to use/register (only a 1% per-trade fee).
The benefits are clear, this is what you can do.
But there is no telling of what this can benefit you exactly.
There are 3 major things regarding ERX, and I cataloged them as:
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
The Good - well that's a no brainer: The profits!
You can gain huge amounts of GOLD with a minimum investment of GOLD, and a huge amount of time.
I for one gained 110G in profit with an investment of 10G, in the first two days of trading.
But my Saturday and Sunday where lost in front of the laptop, refreshing the s**t out of ERX, for like 12 pages.
The Bad - well that's a no brainer also: The losses!
Being a stock market, like any market, can cause losses. Some can be unnoticeable, some can make you cry like for real.
I lost 10G on a single share in like 30 seconds. But it was my fault, I didn't checked it before.
For the best is that I got reimbursed, becase the CBO shares I bought where a fake Congressional Budget Office org.
But lost real cash, when a share dropped like hell.
The Ugly - well this is a bit complex.
The ugly thing with ERX, because isn't a thingy implemented in eRepublik, thus enforced by the admins, is the TRUST issue.
OK, operated by the greatest bank of eRepublik, backed by the US Government, made by one of the beta giants and so on.
But the real trust issue, is when buying a share from a company that went public.
Is the manager gonna run with my money? Will I get dividends? Will I be able to sell the shares for a better price? And the questions are trolling down one's mind.
But I'll try to answer most of them in the following articles.

Man, for this and for the next one I have to chew it a little bit🙂
Thanks, great insider🙂
Hello smif! I had some shares at a bulgarian company J K & Company (audited) and I saw from yesterday that no longer appear in my portfolio. That organization is not even in all stocks area. What do you think it happened? Simply disappeared after several days in which they sell shares on market? Who should have the responsibility for investors who bought shares from a specific company. If it will happen the same with others? I wonder how much credibility can provide ERX, if such a situation will happen again?
@Sauron77: JK&Co was a scam. At one point it had 960,000 shares outstanding at 0.20 each, and it was paying dividends, yet its only assets were a closed Q1 weapons co. You should do some research before investing. I think it gives the ERX more credibility that it pulled the listing. Disclaimer: I have no connection to the ERX.
Check out Erepx, Erepubliks first real stock exchange. We check all our listings so you don't get scammed. We maintian share value to a degree and we don't let companies willy nilly list and split, driving share values down.
Thanks ndvanderhoofven and chesehead.
