Welcome to a sad day in America. Early this morning, Russia conquered New Jersey. The battle went down to the last 10 minutes, but at 5:00am erep time, there were simply a lot more PEACE players logged on than eUSA players.

Russia immediately attacked New Hampshire.

After Russia showed its true greed in rejecting the treaty, Hungary joined in and the whole deal fell apart. President Emerick posted a lengthy commentary on the situation. But PEACE is not unified on attacking the eUSA; several of Indonesia's heaviest fighters have moved to the eUSA to fight against Russia.

Yesterday PEACE also attacked our allies in Spain (Madrid) where France has conquered
and Greece (Thrace). Madrid is the capital and a major region so part of the plan was clearly to split us from our allies. It worked. The battle in Thrace is not quite over but it looks like Greece will hold it.

Yesterday a reader said he could no longer find a job in the eUSA. I had a similar problem. When PA fell, I got fired and had trouble finding a job, but eventually did. In New Jersey ...

If FL falls or there are no more jobs, we should probably move out of the eUSA. We really have two choices, move to an ally or to an enemy country as a subversive. In an ally country, we can continue fighting against PEACE and for eUSA (as long as we hold regions). Unfortunately, Spain seems like a poor choice because it may not exist much longer. Greece, Sweden and China seem like reasonable locations, but the government-in-exile may have other suggestions.

Or we could go the subversive route. We can move to an enemy country (Portugal, Indo, Russia, ..) and try to screw up their economy. We can fight in resistance wars (which we can't do from eUSA or an ally), and we can join a company and be very unproductive. Instead of working with our maximum wellness, fight, then work, then heal. That way they pay us more than they gain. I've read that hundreds of PEACE nuts are doing that in the eUSA. If we can't fight in a resistance war, we can fight in a losing battle to get access to the hospital and the experience points.
