[Journey of the Czech man] Le contest
Bootcha
Hello,
jak se mas? It's me - the Czech man - again. I hope that you don't feel offended that I write in English. I think that it's better way to communicate than use google translator and mispronounce the French. I know that you are very proud (slash lazy 😃
) nation and some of you just don't want to use English. It's ok but English has became the universal language of the internet and none of us can do anything about it. It's just fact. If we are clear, lets move on.
In the previous article I wrote about my country and now it's time to find out if you read it. Lets make a little contest.
What are the prize?
You can win some sweet q7 tanks. The amount of tanks depends on the number of votes. I will give away as many tanks as many votes this article will get (up to 100 tanks).
Your task is to find a secret word. This ain't just ordinary word, this is a czech word. You get hints for the letters and you have to put them together to get the secret word.
This word has 4 letters so here are the 4 hints:
Czech republic is the birthplace of some great composers - namely Bedrich Smetana, Antonin Dvorak or Jaromir Vejvoda. The first hint relates to Czech music.
One of the best czech group called Blue effect recorded during the communism regime this song >>> click . After more than 40 years one French band used the melody and made a big hit. The first letter of the name of the band is one of the letters of the secret word.
eCzech republic formed with another country a federation. This is not anything new for the players as they used to be in federation with this country also in real life.
What is the (real not erepublik) name of the country (in English)? The 7th letter is another letter of the secret word.
In the previous article I have shown you some pictures. On of them is picture of city which name I want to know.
In which city can you find this house? Use the 1st letter to find out the secret word.
The Arc de Triomphe was built to celebrite one of Napoleon's victory. Sure you know which battle.
Take the 4th letter (which is same as the 7th letter) of czech name for the place where the battle took place.
Now you should have 4 letters and you have to put them in order to create czech word. This word is popular czech drink.
To send your answer please fill this form >>> click .
After the end of the contest I will randomly pick some people with correct answer that will get the tanks. And because I'm leaving for a week in friday you probably have to wait until my return. Thanks and good luck

Nice song. But I can't find any of the answers 😁'
Little hints:
I. look at comments on youtube
II. we formed the federation with our neighbour, look at wikipedia (1918-1989 in real life and year 2012 in erepublic)
III. this house looks like two dancers that's why it got its name, also you can find another picture of this city in the previous article (and that picture is more familiar)
IV. well, try wikipedia here 🙂
Ahoj ! Snadné ! Jsem francouzsko-český mouahah !
Hi, I looked at your answer and it's incorrect. Try again 🙂
What a FAIL ! Ok ill try again !
I GOT IT! \o/
Now I just hope I'm the first and only one! 😛
Really interesting article, I should feel ashamed that I didn't take the time to read your previous article last time, but now it's done! 😉
I hope you'll continue to show us nice things about your country, and let us discover a bit of your culture!
Just a small remark (which could have been a diplomatic incident actually) the picture you've put is not the Arc de triomphe but the Brandenburger Tor (or Brandenburg Gate) which is actually in Berlin!!! 😮
Anyway hard voted and suscribed!!!
Thank you very much for the response. I have the feeling that most of the French doesn't give a crap about my articles 🙂.
This 'Brandeburg Gate' mistake wasn't random mistake, I made it on purpose as I was curious who will notice it and complain about it 🙂.
Well then I did, definitely! XD
You still shall change it! 😛 We French guys are too proud to be mistaken with German people! 😛 (Funny fact I'm actually living in Germany IRL)
