[MoFA]Country Factfile: Italy + News!
Irish Foreign Ministry
Some of my Finnish friends asked me if 5 players from Ireland would like to take part in a Online Ice Hockey Match. The times are still to be arranged i just wondered if you could comment to say you would like to take part? Here is the website we would do it on : http://kiekko.tk/?lang=en. These sort of activities are the building stones to good foriegn relations.
Now onto the Ambassador Factfiles!
Here is a list of Previous Fact Files:
Fact File 1: Finland

Italy is a medium country, but very industrious. Although it hasn’t many citizens, it’s the 12th for number of newspapers in the eWorld. Already this fact makes us realize how Italians are a nation of communicators! Our borders are: eSpain, eFrance, eAustria, eSwitzerland, eSlovenia and eGreece.

The recent Italian history has been marked by the Croatian PTO which damaged mainly theeconomy. Before then it had never happened to our country to lose control of Congress or even an original region for so long time.

+ complete the reform of the Italian Army,
+ help the new citizens with all the possible support
Congress Currently, thecongressional majority that supports the government consists of PartitoComunista eItaliano and Warlords. eItalia Dei Valori isn’t part of the alliance that won the Congressual Elections, but it maintains good
relations with majority. Other parties (Movimento, Aquila&Gladius, Fronte Nazionale) vote according to conscience. The atmosphere is quiet and constructive. Past disputes seemed to vanish.

Foreign Policy
Foreign policy is conceived by President Noria and MOfAYafet Rasnal and made concrete by our diplomacy. The Italian decision to leave Peace is well-known. Now the target is to maintain good relations with all countries that want a foreign policy based on fairness and brotherhood. So, diplomacy has been strengthened and we
maintain relationships with all countries over the eWorld. Of course, for us there are old relations of friendship that never wane. For any other information feel free to ask me.
New Orleans, Italian Ambassador in Dublin
My Views
I have alot of respect recently for Italy. They had to courage to leave PEACE even as a small country as they didn't feel it suited them. I havn't had the chance to go to eItaly yet but it is on my to do list. So far New Orleans has been a great ambassador to Ireland, giving myself very regular updates from around the world, keep it up. Im really looking forward to improved relations with Italy!
FOR ITALY, FOR IRELAND, MAY WE BECOME BETTER FRIENDS IN THE FUTURE!

Long Live eIreland, Long Live eItaly
The picture you have up isn't a government building it's Il Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II (National Monument of Vittorio Emanuele 2) or Il Altare della Patria (Alter of the Motherland). Romans call it la macchina da scrivere which is the Typewriter. It's actually the tomb of the unknown solider. It's great to climb to the top as it gives great views of Rome and behind it is Il Campidoglio and the Colosseum.
Sorry but if some Italians read this story I don't what then laughing at you. 🙂
Jez Tarazis remind me to get u on any future quiz teams... impressive! Thanks for the interesting article Niall!
Thanks Tarazis 😛 Im surprised the italians didn't point it out 😛

Enjoy,
Everyone outside Rome would call it l'Altare della Patria.
The Altar of the Homeland. good one Tarazis.
It is the most central spot in Rome, probably 😉
