I was surprised and humbled to note that my opposition for the Kyushu elections to the Imperial Diet includes none other than the queen of the heavens, Amaterasu-ōmikami herself.

This is only my second time running against a kami, and my first effort was not fated for victory. Nonetheless, I hope for a victory, not for myself, but for those principles for which I stand

My own offering may not have the sun's glory, but I respectfully submit it nonetheless.

Kokawayoshi Makoto is reigning Emperor. There was supposedly also a Pakistani vampire or something who pretended to be a god a while back, but I never really paid attention.
