The War Games & The August Budget

THE WAR GAMES:
The war games that will give our economy a great boost have finally started.
As our Minister for Foreign Affairs pointed out, we are in no way threatened by our participation in this set of wargames nor by our MPP with Greece.



THE BUDGET:

I waited for the Ministers to give me budget requests this month, and drew this up as a compiliation of their requests. All the figures shown are in the hands of the Departments at present.

Department of Finance and Industry:
240 Gold (Overseas State Companies: Resources for State Companies)

Department of Health:
Nil (Budget carried over from previous month)

Department of Education:
25 Gold (Advertising Budget)
500 IEP

Department for Communities:
700 IEP (Lottery Budget)

Department of Information:
Nil

Department of Defence:
The funding for the Department of Defence will hereby be budgeted separately and on demand of the Minister for Defence. Every transfer of funds to the Department of Defence will be logged in the Finance & Industry Cabinet section of the official Irish Forums.

As of the date of this Budget, no funds have been transferred.
