A Recap on Some Interactvity

You may notice that you have a star player in your cricket team but the rest of your team is not up to scratch. You may choose to trade your star player for another team's player.

Or you might have a star player but your team (for whatever reason) is doing poorly, so you can sell him to another team for INR... and hope to buy another player from another team at a later date.

Also you may also notice your team plays better in certain conditions. The weather gods are always willing to be bribed! The groundsman is permanently drunk and could always use extra money to finance his love for his favourite brew...

A Question to my F1 competitors

We have a couple options open to us with regards to races.

1. I can drive all cars during the race.

The software will pick cars at random for me to drive for a certain period of time, with the CPU taking control of all other cars. All cars will have equal 'drive time'.

One issue with my previous competitions in this area is that setups have never meant much past free practise (I have the CPU drive the cars in qualifying and the race). All CPU controlled cars have the same setup hence why I would apply performance bonuses for those sessions for those cars that performed best in free practise.

Also, I can enforce the pit stop strategies chosen by you guys for those races requiring them. In earlier iterations, all I could do was tell the CPU when pit stops should occur (eg. all I could do was tell the game that 30% of the field want to pit twice and the first pit stop range is between laps 14-25).

A downside to this is that Qualifying and the Race will take longer to simulate and the competition won't progress as quickly.

I also won't be able to rewind the race in replay mode beyond 2 minutes of race time (I can of course record mini-clips throughout the race) but I will miss almost all those minor incidents that always happen.

2. Or if you don't trust me to drive all cars as hard and fast as I can
