The Examiner has learned that a group of 4 Russian-attack aircraft have been landed in Syria as part of Moscow's efforts to support the regime of Bashar Al-Assad against the Islamic State(IS) militants.

Meanwhile, during a nearly hour-long call, America's Secretary of Defense(Ash Carter) and his Russian counterpart(Sergei Shoigu) have agreed to make sure that the respective militaries are "steer clear of each other as they each carry out operations against ISIS"
