Regarding the legality of the war proposal, having reviewed existing law, I have determined that it is NOT illegal to declare war on Norway at present without a Supreme Court decision to the contrary.
In fact, at present, the loophole in the law between the Constitution and the War Council Act provides that ANY country occupying Northern Ireland can be declared against by order of the War Council and in-game vote.
The Constitution working with the text of the War Council Act allows a quick defence of the "Irish Nation", which can be extended to Northern Ireland by the War Council.
Long live the Irish Republic!

The description of the state is "Republic of Ireland".

Nation is a separate entity from the idea of a state or a country.
Northern Ireland in reality is considered part of the Irish nation, but part of the British state, for instance.

Wow. Reality in game... what a damn surprise. Can you people really not see the difference of the game from the Real World? If a RW is created in NI who gets it if they win? England. Why? Because it is originally their land. Its pathetic some of you can't grasp this.
The solution to this problem seems pretty simple to me, put it to the Supreme Court for interpretation. Let them do their job and interpret the laws. If it is deemed as an illegal action, then I urge a Congress member to move for impeachment.
But the fact remains we are at war, and there are few who can say they weren't looking forward to this. Let the Supreme Court decide the legality of it, and in the mean time let us fight for unification.
Looks legal to me. I'd be interested in the Court's interpretation.
